February Update 2023! (Patreon)

Me fine, slowly crawling out of the massive irl work I had at my day job on Christmas and January. Not too much to explain I think, though these past weeks the water company started to work on the street, and I think their jackhammers moved my house because cracks started appearing...

There is some work to do on the implementation of the voice-lines, I got more than enough and I have to tweak a little bit how Rynn makes sounds to get them all in there. Hopefully in the future would be good to get some introductory lines on other characters, and of course villain lines when in combat.

I resently restarted doing more assets for the forest, still is pretty hard to come up with stuff.

I'll make some ruin stuff and debree. Maybe crystals to glow in the caves? Oh and i have to make something for the Imperial camp and stuff too!

This week I also started planning the store style for the game. And I did a poll that seems that favors the Zelda style shop, where the player doesn't lose control of the character and interacts with the items. But lots of people suggested me to do an hybrid with A and B options (I thought people would tell me to do B and C hybrid lol).

That style seems good!

So my final words for this month are about the work the water company did near my house.

I live in a kinda normal old brick house and the street just is less than 2 meters from the house wall, and they came with big machinery to excavate, I'm sure they were careful but the vibrations made cracks on my house and I complained to the company, they didn't respond my email.

Talking with some people they suggested I get an expert to check the cracks, they told me that they will do some test but it will be difficult if I can't show that those cracks weren't there before. 

Who makes random photos of their walls every couple of months? I'm sure somebody but not me. I have to check old family photos of the house to see if randomly some are usable as a defense.

Anyways, seems like each month a new fucked up thing happens on my life, lol.

I'm trying my best to keep the good humor.
