The same type of person who demeans sex workers is the same type of person who demands sex from their partner as a service. I said what I said. You’re uncomfortable showing decency to people who do porn, but you have no problem assaulting someone. Who’s respectable, again.

My own thoughts are that many of the same people who are disgusted by sex workers are still willing to consume porn and even visit prostitutes. i'd rather make it as safe as possible for women.

I think at this point I have more respect for sex workers than I do for like... most "respectable" jobs. Like pretty much top tier is Doctor, Engineer, and Sex Worker (and the good lawyers, like immigration etc), and social workers and mental health providers. Then there's everybody else and at the bottom of the list is like corporate lawyers, cops, and most sales people (whom I've had to unfortunately work with extensively).
