Why not both? One version with Effects and one without.

Holden Gladden

Echo would make the most sense.

With effects. Don't worry too much about effects not being 100% on point. Star Wars IV is still a classic and yet it's special effects are....you know...

Some light echo/reverb sounds fine by me.

DisIde

I think trying it out with effects sounds great. It is all a journey to find what works and what doesn't, so it won't be anything other than a learning experience if the result isn't completely what you wanted.

Anonymous

Adding the effects would be better I think. Helps make the audio more immersive even if they aren't 100% spot on.

Anonymous

I think it sounds good to try it with the effects.

ArkAuthor

A little echo.

TeacupAudio

I’m getting the feeling that we’re opting for the echo! 😆

Anonymous

I wouldn’t mind a little echo.

Richard Hardslab

I’m on the sound effects bus here. *Beep beep*

kyle

It wouldn’t sound real without that bathroom echo echo echo “I’m an idiot”....... “your an idiot” in the background 💙

Whatever floats your duck 🦆 😅

Kris Grimsley

As long as the effects aren't too overbearing it should be more than fine

Sid

Effects please! I wanna hear the echos of your voice :3

Lobonoa Zoro

Yes effects please

I like effects.

GhostPants

I think the effects make it more realistic.

Martin Morbach

Maybe (if it fits) only the "drip-drop" of water that gets in the thub?!

Angel

Effects please

Klaus

If the effects are subtle, "linger discreetly" in the background and it isn't too much hassle to edit the audiotrack (adjusting the different soundlayers) then yes please for i think i will help to boast the immersion. And don't forget: one duck only! Remember what happened to James Veitch :-))

RainValken

Effects would make it realistic. Trust your ability to keep it from being overwhelming!

Effects adds realism

Thats a "no effects" please from me. I tend to listen to them before sleeping and especially echo "triggers" me all the wrong way :D

Jacob Coleman

Please use every effect possible!

TeacupAudio

So, I've just discovered that Audacity has a standard Reverb setting called 'Bathroom'. Gonna give that shot! Might be useful! It has a good echo on it! Just imagine you're in a large bathroom :D

Anonymous

Absolutely use whatever effects you feel right.

Anonymous

I like the idea of an echo

Anonymous

Yes to the effects

Some echo sounds good.

Please be very judicious, a light touch of reverb goes a long way. It is too easy to ruin professionally voiced audio with effects.

Anonymous

Effects please!

I personally prefer without but ether is fine as long as it's not really out of place
