100+hrs, ton of time building+match ingame look, tearing hair out trying fix issues and atm some cannot be fix in version of unity use by vam.  But enough of you have ask about experience of walk through map in vam so done some more work and now release.

So first quick notice about this map, is HUGE PERFORMANCE DRAIN.  Part of start environment tester tier is release env that have high ambition/desire recreate original and sometime have huge performance cost. This not very usable in traditional sense of environment, is more result of experiment in trying port huge level.  Because map is so huge, it actually break unity bake lighting system, so all light must be realtime which add to performance draining.  Example of light bake breaking is in bar part of map, is bright spot near guitar that remain even if disable all light + clear lightbake data.  So not able fix really until VAM 2.x which have better/more recent unity version.  Skybox also higher than 1000 units so will not display properly unless fly very high up, or unless someone put out script that let have higher max renderdistance.

Features:

  • Full reassemble+recreation in Unity for VAM, as with ChatooG have ton of hrs spend in alt tab between unity and game for detail matching
  • Multiple cubemap for every part of map, direct from original game files
  • Whole map moveable if select CustomUnityAsset atom, very useful if already have models+lighting and want change to diff room on map, make sure disable collision first
