Okay, I ran the numbers again and wrote a short little scene and now we are at 28 chapters, 38000 words written since last week, and 48000 words in total. Twelve thousand more and this bad boy is novel-length, which is good, because I have just a couple more sex scenes and some plot to cover. You never know, there might be enough for a sequel; just selected a good stopping point or cliffhanger sorta thing. I wanted to stop around 150 pages, like an old pulpy paperback, but apparently that's 37,500 words, which I've obviously left behind a while ago. So I should wrap this up while it's still a grindhouse-y 200-odd pages.
