I really enjoyed this being cooped up in my office currently. The bataille book sounds incredible - shout out to y’all for all your bataille work. Really has helped me a lot. Do you have snow boots or something similar for walking in that ice? Any boot recs?

Here I was either wearing my hiking books (Lowa brand - got them on closeout at REI like 6 years ago) or my LaCrosse 800 Thinsulate boots). Each of them serve different purposes. The LaCrosse are more for muddy areas but they are good at low temps. The Lowa pair has the traction that can handle the ice.

You’ve got quite the dreamland going on there Craig! I’m sure you’ve heard of him, but check out Bill Mollison’s Permaculture design Manuel.... Also Geoff Lawton. I’ve been trying to think of ways of combining permaculture and philosophy.
