THIS WAS AN EXPERIENCE. Threw me back to the reactions I did for the older songs WOW. SO MANY amazing moments and the setlist was LIT.

Just some notes!

PLEASE DO NOT SCREENSHOT/SCREEN RECORD WHEN THERE'S A WATERMARK ON THE FOOTAGE as I used multiple copies and we dont want any of our fellow nctzens (who are generous enough to share with us) getting in trouble! Feel free to tell people I reacted to it though if you want 😁

I just noticed that my own livestream recording didnt have live video for the first 1.5 hours but I was hearing sounds and seeing subs 😭. So I had to go to another link for that section. Every song is pretty much at 1080p except 2-3 songs that I had to go to Youtube for. 

I tried to balance out the audio volume throughout the video because they pretty much butchered the sound mixing (some mics were not on or very quiet compared to the instrumentals and some songs were louder than others). 

This reaction does not include VCR and mentions as it wouldve been 5 hours long.

I went into this thinking my bias line (Johnny, Yuta, Hendery, Jeno, and Jisung) will get shafted since they sometimes do, and I end up severely ult bias wrecked by Park Jisung. What are the odds? Your reaction to The Bat is exactly what I was looking for It would e a waste of an opportunity to not promote this song, but I'm afraid SM will focus on the most obvious which is "Baggy Jeans". I was disappointed by the quality of the stream, the disorganization of the team with the venue, sound engineering and mixing (because Hendery kept going in and out,) the camerapeople not focusing on the stage AND the members (let's not get started on the Xiaojun misses) but I'm immensely proud of NCT for pulling this concert off! It feels like a new era and with this new album, it seems like NCT is going through a rebrand of sorts? Maybe not a rebrand, but their sound is going back to their neo roots. I think you should check out the album and possibly end up wrecked by Jisung, Chenle, and Renjun. They really shine, to me. Thank you for the reaction, Jeff!!! Edit: The BAT went viral primarily due to Jisung and Jeno!! The track video has been released for it today along with Kangaroo!

I don't know if they will promote the new songs but I do know that there are now 4 more mvs/track videos (cause it isn't the full song) of BAT, Kangaroo, Pado and Alley Oop. Like everyone was saying, Jisung and Jeno fancam went freaking viral for BAT. This song definitely deserves a promo. Knowing the fact that TAEIL was actually supposed to be in like almost half of the setlist, it kind of made me sad 🥺 But I'm glad to know that he's recovering well after the surgery. Also, kudos to all the members who covered his parts and also for the other absent members! They all did so well. 👏🏻 NCT they've been through a lot and I'm just so so proud of all of them. This concert was a dream come true not only for us but I'm sure for all the members as well. 💚💚 I hope you could still do an album listen after this. Well obviously the audio here was kind of bad. And also, Taeil was not in the concert so we can only hear his parts on the new songs in the album. 🙏🏻 Lastly, thanks for sharing your reaction on this!!! 💗 I hope they do better in production for their Japan tour.

I'm halfway through the reaction and just wanted to answer some questions before I forgot! 1. I suggest doing a reaction for the album. Now that I've listen to it, the stages have their own charm ✨ (and I'm going to keep watching and listening to them over and over) but the audio quality is so far off from what is present on the album. Your ears will be blessed with things that we couldn't hear at all or very well in the concert. 2. For Golden Age, only one song is being promoted, Baggy Jeans. So exciting as the Baggy Jeans unit and Riize will be attending.) There are some not present on the list as I believe that one of the members said they'll be doing 8 schedules for Baggy Jeans. A performance video for Baggy Jeans will also be dropping tonight. Although only one song is being promoted, four songs have track videos - The Bat, Kangaroo, Pado, and Alley Oop and I'm really hoping that we get at least a performance video for Call D, but that's not on the album schedule graphic. The archiving videos were the last things on it. The first two have already been released and the next two will be released tomorrow at 10am KST. I slept after the first half of the concert because I wasn't really feeling the show (technical difficulties, audio problems, and bad camerawork) BUT OMG THE SECOND HALF OF THE SHOW... I now regret not enduring it a little more because I SOMEHOW ENDED ON THE FLOOR WHILE WATCHING IT WITH YOU😭 It felt elevated and grand. My fave set of unit performances definitely goes to WayV! wow, the arrangement, the stage, the charisma. They were giving everything! Also, if I remember correctly, Kun arranged the opera ver of Phantom! And after their unit performances, the energy just went up and THE NEW ALBUM PERFORMANCES ENDED ME. Just finished and I loved getting to rewatch it with you and hear your thoughts so much! I agree that they really should be doing something to make it up to people who bought the Beyond Live because of all the technical issues. I'm hoping that their next four dates go much better and wonder if the new NCT unit will join them for the last two later in September. That could be so fun! Alley Oop is my absolute favorite song off the album but it's truly a no-skip album, imo. The guys did absolutely wonderful, especially considering the scale of the concert and how the practices had to be balanced with their busy schedules of solo and subunit activities. In a Melon interview with the Baggy Jeans unit, Doyoung mentioned that the members doing Pado only practiced for one day. Neo Got My Back is a beloved, but not often mentioned intro off of the Empathy album. Some nctzens have made cute edits to it of a march in Camp Rock.

Yes, the Phantom performance was by Kun 🙌🏾 He did one for WayV's performance in Macau and then this one for NCT Nation. It's so grand!

Would love an album review!! I loved this reaction so much!! The mics were low at times, too low. I missed the homie Taeil!!! 😭 WayV definitely deserved this moment too. They were having such a great time!! 💚 Also did you know Kun is the one who remixed Phantom? They originally performed a version of this remix in Macau at the TMEA show as 5-member group when Kun couldn’t go. My first NCT song was Without U, and to see them perform it here with this awesome arrangement made me fall in love again. To be honest I have always related more to NCT Dream than the other units. I guess the music they make is more my jam, but there are so many things that grabbed my attention and made me want to give NCT 127 ans WayV a second chance : - The 7th sense is just too iconic - Yangyang and Xiaojun are just amazing - Ten is an incredible artist, I really want to see him do more solo stuff like he did with paint me naked - Sha la la is not my type of music, but damn Taeyong has just this kind of stage presence that Taemin has, I would die if they danced together at some point With no surprise my favourite portion of the concert was all the dream songs, I just love them so much. And Jeno ??? His biceps look just like mingyu's (from seventeen). I just felt like our Renjun was a bit tired on stage, I hope he is feeling okay. ALSO, ANYONE NOTICED HOW THE FORMATION FOR ISTJ'S INTRO LOOKED LIKE WOLF BY EXO ??? THAT WAS GENIUS.

Jeff the first song is one of most ICONIC NCT intro’s of ALL TIME. It is from the 2018 Empathy album. ☺️ Limitless is also a fan favorite and many NCTzens love it and consider it one of the greats songs in kpop.

Kun is actually in the Chinese version of the song. It was his first song with NCT. He was then put in the dungeon until WAYV debuted. 😭

There will be Restreaming on beyond live for this on 7 oct if I'm not wrong...usually on the restreaming the audio and the camera work will be much much much better than the live one...but we will see AND PLEASEE JEFF,,FIND AND WATCH HAECHAN FANCAM FOR PADO 😍😍😍
