Thank you all for waiting for this! It was a bit of a struggle to film as I'm currently in the province (my hometown) and the hotspot was quite laggy so youll be seeing a bit of some choppy sections as I had to edit out the parts when the playback would buffer.

I'll be in a hotel on Friday when I film the finale so that should be a better experience :)

I'm the most heartbroken over Seunghwan, Haruto and Zihao 😭 I couldn't focus on the final mission because I kept crying lmao But to be fair, this top18 is really solid as well and at this point I'm okay with anyone making it to the top9. I can't believe that this show is ending tomorrow...as much as I hate Mnet I'm gonna miss this show a lot, I've never been this happy watching a bunch of guys train toward their dream !

I cried so much when Wang Zihao didn't make it 😭 😢 I didn't think I will be affected this much lol. I even lost my interest in the whole boys planet. It is that serious 😅😅 I am still rooting for park hanbin and Zhang Hao. Whoever make it in thr top9 deserves so I wish them a successful debut

Haruto made me cry, but my one pick JongWoo made it, so it was a very mixed bag for me.

This episode was really hard for me to get through. On top of losing some of my absolute faves Jay was once again thrown to the wolves. He truly can’t catch a break.

I don't get the hate Sung Hanbin is getting for pushing Jay from the Main Vocal. This is how they choose their position for the finals since Produce 101 season 1 in 2016. If you remember, during the star-level test Hanbin did not check the vocal part as he was not confident yet with his vocals. But now that he is getting confident about his vocals, after being the main vocal for Say My Name he is being called greedy (for being the main vocal and wanting the killing part). The only position left is the sub vocal 6, he cannot push another trainee for Jay. Do you think Hanbin would risk his P01 rank and be a subvocal 6 coming to the finals? Some kept on saying that he is safe, but he is not. Look at the interim ranking he is 3rd. We know what happened during the finals of the past seasons

My one pick was Zihao and I was literally shaking the whole eliminations and broke down when they showed his interview because the way they gave us only 1 interview of his back in ep3 it was the first time and this was the 2nd one and the last one as well so it was kinda heartbreaking. I'm happy and glad to see how Zihao made it to here he had over a million and more global votes without even screen time honestly the problem was his Korean votes after all ofc how general public shall know you much when mnet really didn't want him to debut while they discredited his work and cut his scenes and parts as much as they can. Honestly it's unfair. I still wanted to see him in the finals only to perform Here I am with others since he didn't get to do that bc he was sick at that time and had an individual fancam. But that's also the thing he has a strong 1 pick so if he made it to the finals he would've pretty much made it close or in top9. As u said mnet really didn't want him to debut. I'll forever gonna be bitter how they cut and did all of this to him especially his star level test and the dance battle with another trainee for the seat with it as well. Can like mnet upload those he isn't there anymore give us the footage fbfh I'm not sure what's next but I guess the next step is to wait the date when Lay gonna debut his boy group and I'm sure that will be such an epic debut. Mnet truly didn't deserve him

I'm still in disbelief that Zihao did not make it. Although he doesn't get a lot of support from Mnet I still hoped that he would make it because he really has a strong fandom. I'm very heartbroken. Mnet didn't even bother to show his number of votes (unlike their previous eliminations) and they only released his interviews after he gets eliminated. It really feels like I'm hearing him for the first time when I watched it. He speaks very well and has a nice voice. So full of wisdom! I hope he gets to debut soon. I think LAY is already planning for their group. I will support them for sure. 💚 Nonetheless, Top 18 is so solid tho! This season really has a lot of talented trainees and I'm very much okay on whoever will make it to Top 9 because they're all deserving! I'm nervous for tomorrow's final episode!! Hoping for the best! 🙏🏻

I'm still sad over Haruto and Kuanjui, I was so sure they would make the finals! all of supercharger team getting eliminated was just heartbreaking. Now I personally really need Park Hanbin to debut (along with Taerae, Sung Hanbin, Zhanghao and Gunwook - I know its not looking too good for half of my picks rip) or idk what I'll do... I'm getting real nervous for tomorrow, the last time I was this invested in a survival show was the first season of Produce 101 when IOI debuted. I wish you best of luck being offline and watching the finals late haha

Every elimation gets more and more emotional. Like I am not prepared for the final, I just want to see the final 18 together. Even if I hate Mnet I can't get enough of BP. Shocked me Haruto was not in the top 18, I never even thought that he would not be in the final. I'm gonna miss WoongKi and SeoWon they were the funniest and sassiest trainees. However I am not mad at the top 18. They all are very skilled and have their own charms.

I meann, in Say My Name i didnt even know he was the main vocalist until i watched the eps, I always thought it was Seungeon. Also from the past produce shows, we’ve seen so many trainees downfall from getting too greedy. Eunbi pushed chowon from main vocalist, and she cant even hit the highnote so chowon had to double for her. Takeuchi Miyu pushed Yuri, and she cant even sing her main vocal part, she ended up sharing her parts with yuri and haeyoon. Shanbin def deserves to make whatever choice he want as he is p01, but there will always be consequences. For me, he could take a better position to keep his p01 like go for sv 2, and go for the killing parts. .

I think Matthew got a lower rank because, in the previous episodes, he got some "evil" edits. I expected that his rank will drop, but not this much. But I think this is good too because now a lot of his fans will rally to vote for him

this was one of the worst eliminations ever, like I was so anxious all through out.... I'm sad seunghwan didn't make it, he was one of my picks, but now my main three picks are jay matthew and lee jeonghyeon....and I really really want Jay to debut so thats who I am voting for as my one pick. For the finale I'm literally so scared and anxious ngl I even started to tell my friends and everyone at home to help me voting lol

Yeah the hate towards SHanbin is really unnecessary. Jay is my one pick and it does hurt to see him get pushed to sub vocal 6 but it's all part of the game and it is still a competition at the end of the day. I feel like people forgot who SHanbin is, like, this guy has been an absolute angel throughout the entire show. He's always helping others, talking to them when they're down, and is generally well liked by everyone. So I don't blame him for wanting to take the part he wants since that is a privilege he got for being #1. Though I do wish he strategized a bit better like in PD101 S2 when Kang Daniel, who wanted a rapper position, but ultimately decided to take a subvocal position and pushed Sungwoon in to main vocal (which was open), so ultimately he didn't pick THE part he wanted but still got to choose a part and his actions painted him in a better light rather than make him look greedy. But again, I don't blame SHanbin for pushing Jay out because he didn't do anything wrong, this is all part of the drama that MNET wanted to create.

My top 3 votes had been Jiwoong, Kamden & Woongki so the elimination was def very heartbreaking for me since I really wanted Woongki to survive :( But luckily Kamden did! Jiwoong was the main reason I started to watch Boys Planet and I'm so anxious about tomorrow since I really want him to debut, but we'll see!

(Haven't started watching but excited to watch as always, but to answer your question) I'M HEARTBROKEN 😭 I had been rotating my votes between my G-Group faves (Haruto, Wang Zi Hao, Keita) and my K-Group faves (Lee Seunghwan, Park Hanbin, Kum Junhyeon), and losing three of them in one fell swoop had me in TEARS 😭 I'm gonna be sad-bopping whenever I listen to Supercharger now 😭 I think losing Haruto and Seunghwan hurt a little more because both of them have been through the survival show circuit before, and both of them are so IMMENSELY talented like... Yeah I'm still invested in everyone left but I won't lie, they were my secondary biases next to Sung Hanbin and Zhang Hao and now they're gone 😭

It's weird that in any of the interim rankings, they didn't reveal the full ranks. In girls planet, they revealed almost all the full ranking most of the time and not just a handful of trainees so it seemed more transparent to the audience.

Idk if you've seen the breakdown of votes between Korean and Global votes but Kamden is #8 in terms of Korean votes but #18 in Global Votes. So Kamden is surprisingly popular in Korea. On the other end of the spectrum, Jay is #4 in Global Votes but #18 in Korean Votes. Wang ZiHao, I definitely feel like MNet is out to get him. Like you mentioned in the beginning, they may not be manipulating the votes itself but they're definitely working their editing magic by making him practically invisible. Still, I can't help but feel like there's something fishy going on with Zihao because he consistently ranks high in terms of fancam views and winning the official support so it's still shocking that he doesn't rank high in the official rankings. That being said, the only thing I think that keeps MNet from using more footage of him is possibly because he doesn't really speak Korean. Of the Top 28 trainees, Only Zihao and Shauibo are the 2 Global trainees who weren't fluent in Korean and they're the 2 who don't get many edits. Like you barely get any interview portions from them.

Sung Hanbin is amazing, I know he is beautiful, but he is really talented too, like, I watched each version of killing parts they posted on YouTube, and damn, this guy dances exactly the same when he is in the center and when he is in the back, his nuances, omg, it's powerful, the angles, he has a lot of dynamics in the way he moves, and also he has a character pretty strong when he dances, so he got me for sure, my one pick is him, buuuuut, I love a lot of them so much, I'm gonna be a hard time tomorrow with this finale 🙈

I always voted for Haruto, Seunghwan and Jiwoong during the 3 Pick and I was so so sad that two of them didn’t go into the final round. Haruto definitely will have other opportunities I’m sure but Seunghwan already talked about how it’s not easy to get somewhere in the industry when you’re “older” (dude he’s literally 22 that’s not old anywhere other than in Kpop). I’m just praying and hoping that Jiwoong makes it tomorrow because this may truly be his last opportunity after he went through so much with his old groups and companies. He just really deserves this.

matthew is my pick and i'm sooo scared now with his rank. tbh because of the rumors he lost sooo many korean votes and those votes count the most during the final so he's in a risky spot... hoping for the best. thanks for the reaction!

This top 18 was a surprise since there were 2 guys I didn't know. They had barely any screen time and yet managed to rank high. I'm not saying they are not talented, I just feel I don't know them and performance wise they never bleeped on my radar. Also, I lost Haruto, Seowon and Seungwha so that was a lot. The last 2 were in my top 9. Now I just hope Jiwoong and Jongwo will debut together tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Jeff, The reason that people are worried about Koreans having an unfair advantage during the finals is mostly due to what happened in the Girls' Planet 999 finale, where (in large part due to the change in voting format in the finale) 3 members of the G Group equivalent dropped out of the debut team from the 3rd announcement to the finale, and no foreign member placed higher than 7th.

at first I was disappointed when shanbin took jay's part but like he kinda set his own team up bc now we have hui, seungeon, and jay on one team. the vocals for jelly pop are going to be insaneee!

I know how hard getting connected is in the province sometimes😅 Btw, this is so random, but I went to see NCT Dream yesterday and probably due to years of watching your dance practice reactions I was going like “Ohhhh.. those body lines! Look how sharp those movements are! The footwork!!” lol. I can better appreciate how hard working the Dreamies are and idols in general🥹
