Decided to give it a shot for you and rowoon even though I hate 98% of Korean historical dramas.

Oh my…I was just thinking about tweeting you, in case you might want to check this drama out. And bam you post a reaction lol. I’m liking it already and was surprised by how much of a drama it actually is lol. Was totally expecting a little romcom. And to think, at some point we are gonna get a shirtless Rowoon. I’m over the moon about this drama already lol.

You need to see Mr Sunshine!

onyx.

yesss im so excited for this show! also what you described the role played by Rowoon, I love those type of leading men who are more on the sweeter, funnier or gentler types. Seongyeon from Run On, Nokdu from tale of nokdu are what comes to my mind.

So the child actor is named Choi Myungbin and she is a phenomenal actor. She is 13 and she even had you believing she was a boy. The way she could change here voice back and forth between the girl twin and the boy twin was phenomenal to listen to and watch. She played both the girl and boy young twin 🥰 I was laughing when you said she was giving you bae Jinyoung vibes and then you were praising her for being advanced enough to wear girl clothes. She is going places. Such a brilliant young actor

HAHA, i’ve been keeping an eye out on rowoon, eunwoo, jaehyun and song kang’s dramas and this particular premise was intriguing for me so i definitely had to watch it!

jeffavenue

LOL i had to search it up after and yea found out she was a girl. i agree this girl is PHENOMENAL

Hammhoxx

Didn't the king say to the prince that if it was found out that the prince had twins with a girl then they'd all die? If I'm understanding correctly then I can agree with the mother having to send her away and although I hate the granddad I can see why he did what he had to do. (I could have processed this wrong) It was either that child's life or their whole family's life.

Most historical k-dramas are quite intense and cinematic. Usually with an amazing ost as well. Scarlet heart, 100 days my prince and My country: the new age are some of the pretty intense ones. But I also recommend Mr Queen for a way more hilarious watch.

K

Actually the parenting or the putting the responsibility in the child, is not much in this situation,,, i have watched a lot of period dramas, and they are really intense, at such young age they need to teach the child, esp the crown prince how to hold his position, since there are lot of people who would want to have the thrown. I think its always nice to watch period kdramas, to also get an idea where some of the beliefs or ways of modern korea came from. Period dramas are usually intense since its about the thrown, who is sitting in it, how to keep it vs. those who wants it and the lengths they would go to have it. It usually centers around power and position. Period/historical dramas usually also are really emotional, eventhough at some points its funny.
