Actually Gfriend was under Source which is part of HYBE(BigHit), CUBE is BtoB, CLC, (G)-IDLE, Pentagon, Lightsum(just debuted) but they used to also have Rain, 4Minute, BEAST, etc. They're a solid company that was considered the largest after Big 3 but they're not a good company by any means. They are known for mismanagement and neglect especially in the cases of HyunA/Edawn being kicked out, Yanan's hiatus and now with seemingly abandoning CLC to focus on younger girl groups (also similar accusations that they gave up on 4minute and only renewed HyunA as a soloist BTW Triple H who was in the ep. is HyunA, Dawn, and Hui from Pentagon and at that time they were all still under Cube.

this trainee from showtime, heeseung is my all time favorite vocalist in kpop. He’s part of the band n.flying (THEY ARE SO GOOD). and if you wanna see more about his vocals check out the music “still love you” he sings it with hongki ( a really good vocalist as well) it’s a well known music in Korea and has straight up the best high note from a kpop idols, and guess what heeseung did it! He sang it live as well multiple times, he went viral because of it.

The guy whose voice you liked that was 36th and got eliminated afterwards is now the main vocal of a k-bank called N.Flying. His power vocals are no joke for real!! They actually just had their comeback last week, you might like it.

omg jeff you haveeee to watch hweseung performances (rank 36) they never really let him show just how good he actually is on this show. I recommend his performance of "25,21" on Immortal Songs or "Goodbye for a moment" on King of Masked Singer

Jeff the Oh Little Girl sounds familiar to you because it is the audition performance song in X101 by starship trainees which is again correct becoz most of them are in Cravity now. Another correct assumption is the shifting of members like how they did in X101 once the elimination stage has been made to be distributed to other teams which has less to make up the 7 members needed it means also that teams which have higher numbers need to cut members. So challenging for this people to learn new choreo halfway through the evaluation. Looking for the next weeks reaction 😊

It was God’s work that Kang Daniel was put in Open Up 💜 team, even if he was gaining popularity little by little, this performance was the turning point that made him go viral

Jeff have you ever thought of changing the source you get your episodes from, because the slight audio issue gets really bad during the performances and I feel like it’s taking a lot from the vocals, and you really should experience that. If anything I can provide you what I believe is a better source, but I just a change would be great before next episode.

Kim Donghan the Wei member, he and other 5 trainees was promoting as a 7months project group JBJ, they were sooo good, they even won a music show on their 2nd comeback. You should check them out. After JBJ, Donghan debuted as a solo artist and won his first music show just 7 days after his debut. And dont forget to check out Hweseung (N.Flying) too, he is crazy good!

All of brand new trainees here are already in AB6IX so no, they won't be in Eunsang's group! When hyunbin said his way of not trying to be sleepy is to practice one more time, yeah its not healthy but its sadly normal for idols. like ive seen a lot of times where bae jinyoung said hes just on his way to practice at like 1AM after finishing his schedules with CIX;;;

Justin isn't in TOO, he went back to China w/ JungJung and they debuted in Yuehua group NEXT, Nine Percent, and both as solo artists in China (they're very popular now with bright futures)

The guy that you liked (Hweseung) That got eliminated in 36th place, He's doing really well now as the main vocalist of N.Flying and is probably one of my favourites if not my favourite vocalist in kpop at the moment. Their song Rooftop actually became a sleeper hit in 2019. They had already finished promotions for the song when all of a sudden it went viral and moved to #1 on all korean charts and topped the Gaon digital sales chart for two weeks straight. Needless to say as an Nfia I was overjoyed for them when this happened. They recently had a comeback with their first full album since debut (They debuted in 2013), the title track's called Moonshot and it's honestly lovely. You should definitely check out their live performances of this on Mdromeda or 1theK. They performed a cover of Taeyon's I too on Mdromeda and I was left all kinda levels of shook lol. His power vocals are no joke. He's actually been on immortal songs multiple times on his own and was called their "super rookie" in 2020. Just check out any of their live performances or covers on youtube. It's honestly insane.. As for Triple H, they were a project unit in CUBE with Hui and E'Dawn (Pentagon) and Hyuna (Soloist/4minute). They released 2 EP's before Dawn and Hyuna eventually ended up leaving CUBE. Their MV's and stages are seriously cool. The fashion, the mv aesthetics, their choreo, everything was really out there and really different. It's such a damn shame we won't be getting any more from them since they were such a cool unit. :'(

I highly recommend watching all of Nu'est W's MV after you watch the season. I absolutely loved them during Wanna One's era. The music they put made me a fan. I was so proud of them. That's all I'm going to say.

I don't think we could see Lai Guanlin promote in Korea anytime soon. Seems like he's focusing on his acting career in China for now. (He's active there) But ofc I believe he will for sure come back when the right time comes in the future. I think right now his career is being handled by a Chinese agency although I'm not sure if it's exclusive since we knew that he only just got out of Cube. But yeah, he really needs to find a stable and better agency / management that will handle his matters before we get to see him come back. Hopefully soon tho. 🙏🏻 PS I'm so happy that he left Cube already. I'm just sad because Seonho is still stuck there. (He's active as an actor too in Korea) 🥺

Jeff, do you know that after Produce 101 we had two temporary groups, not one? The first one, more popular, with official winners of Produce was of course Wanna One, but fans wanted other trainees debut together as well so so much, that another group was formed, with lower-ranked trainees - it was called JBJ. Their contract was shorter, so they disbanded before Wanna One, but they had great members, it was always fun to watch them for me, and during their short time together they gave us amazing music. To be honest, JBJ caught my attention quicker than Wanna One. I became their fan right after their debut song, but I fell in love with Wanna One much later in their career. At that time I haven't watched Produce show, so I only knew Wanna One and JBJ for their music. Later on, when I watched that, I became Wanna One fan as well ❤️ I think both of those groups matched together perfectly 😊

you should check out SBS Loud with JYP and PSY! a lot of the contestants have ballet or other professional dance background ☺️

Yeah to me CUBE is not really a good company, their managment is just not it. Guanlin left cube a while back, but only recently just won his lawsuit against cube, it took 2 years.

About the 3 guys that got called out for posting their song preference on social media, the point was for the fans to pick which concept/song they felt suited each trainee. They weren't supposed to "tell" the fans which song they wanted. Also I believe they weren't allowed to post on social media in general. As far as I'm aware, none of them flat out said which song but hinted at it. Like in Daniel's case, I believe a fan asked him to hint at which song he wanted by changing the number of cat emojis on his profile ( I don't remember what Social Media platform he was on), which he did change. He later wrote on his profile that he would think before acting. Also, I think they purposefully gave the trainees the next performance piece prior to elimination because part of the mission is to see how quickly they can adjust to having to switch songs, parts, positions, different members in a short period of time.
