I think they already paid off the debt with the amount of money they are making. That's just what I think but I am not sure. Usually, I believe depts are paid off by the second year after debuting when they are successful.

The funny part about the bed assignments is that Jisung and Jaemin were roommates before for a decent amount of time. The running joke is that Jisung kept on sleeping on Jaemin’s bed which was the bottom bunk. Jisung would say it’s too much of a hassle to climb lol

For SM, as far as I know, they don't have the so-called "trainee debt" and so their artists already get paid when they debut. SM is a big company so that should be the case.

I believe Mark and his family talks in Korean in their home even while they're living in Canada but I think MARK is more comfortable in speaking in English. (could be considered his first language too) I think he also mentioned before on their early days that he's still learning Korean. I mean he's fluent in it but not so with those like deep Korean words for example. So we could see sometimes the members would also speak english for MARK. But Idk maybe he's more comfortable now in speaking Korean compared to English since he's been living in Korea now for so long but of course his English would not be gone like that especially because there's a member like Johnny and they usually speaks in english with each other so yeah. ☺️ (and all our foreign swaggers member 😂)

For the language thing with Mark, i live in France but i’m fluent in English, French and another language called Wolof. But since my school stuff is in french, i speak wolof to my family and i’m very much more comfortable in speaking english, my speaking right now is really messed up😂 i just say whatever comes to mind in the language it comes. It’s really confusing

there some fake information that sm paying like 95%/5 % but sm artists all pretty rich and company pays a lot of things airplanes tickets, dorms, food, hotels etc probably they do live in dorms because they save money for house super junior exo snsd etc live in fancy houses that costs a lot

Some ways to know an idol is wealthy is if they don’t live in dorms anymore or even own a car. A lot of Sm artists also get other income from coffee shop businesses, owning buildings, or personal promotions. Since the company pays for a lot, they can save to move out when they want to. Sometimes they keep their dorm even though people move out in case of promotions and a centralized base.

SM artists don't have any debt with the company Jeff , so when they debut they are earning , despite a lot of misinformation out there , they are actually paid very well , most have bought homes outright for their parents or paid off their parent's mortgage early in their careers and by the time they leave dorm life they are very riiiiiiiich !

so super junior heechul once said, when aespa debuted he said SM artists had a group where before they were released they would be sent an MV and then other SM artists would give their opinion and enter. that's what he said so it looks like all dreams are listening to the song but don't have the song in their playlist yet because it hasn't been released yet

That's what I was thinking as well. I think he maintained his English due to other members being able to speak it with him. For example Yuta, he mentioned in his VLive with Shotaro that he never speaks Japanese with the 127 members since they don't know how to speak it fluently, so he tends to forget since he isn't speaking it frequently, compared to Mark. (idk if I made sense lol )

I think its more likely that they watched the teasers? you can hear the "you're my only bambi bambi" part in the teaser and it got stuck in my head after I watched it too. I think wanting feedback from seniors about a new debut is different, they have no reason to ask nct members to listen before the song gets released. The only way they would have listened before the release would be if baekhyun personally asked them to which I doubt?

The thing with Mark and some other idols is they tend to speak english with their korean members but with mark there are a lot of people in NCT who understand english but just cant speak it well. Also, there are a lot of members who can speak english and he does use english a lot on a daily bases Some places have high shelves but some are lower (not a lot lower but like 4- 6 inches) compared to places like U.S, Canada, and Europe. And they can use their phones if you saw in some clips Jaemin was just lying down on his phone

Watching this gave me something fun to do for a couple hours while waiting for sunset so that I can break fast. I'm craving ramen now, lol. If you're looking for an easy recipe to add to your repertoire, I'd suggest sheet pan oven-roasted vegetables. They're super easy, hard to mess up, and delicious.

For mark i feel like hes most comfortable speaking english since he spoke most of it his childhood, but he can easily adapt in different environments and with the ppl hes around. For example, i live in canada montreal, where we speak french and english and my family speaks cantonese. So at school with teachers id speak french, with my friends english (but will switch to french if i know theyre more comfortable in french) and with my parents id use cantonese. As a person who has immigrant parents i know that sometimes kids cant fully learn their mother tongue especially since i was going to school speaking french and english on a daily and that could have been the case for mark as well since hes canadian, speaking english every day at school and then having some french lessons so maybe the only time he could speak korean was at home. As a kid, learning 2-3 languages kinda messes with your brain hahaha so its natural to speak/mix in different languages when youre conversing. So when mark moved to korea his korean definitely improved since it was kinda like survival mode, but i think he was able to maintain his english because some members spoke english as well and also just being exposed to the media watching shows/ movies, listening to music and interacting with international fans :)

I don't think cell phones or other technology were banned for this filming since Jaemin was laying on the couch inside on his phone the whole time the guys were in the pool and Jisung and Renjun were also seen playing with their phones here and there lol I think they just have a lot of energy since they're young and are used to moving around a lot and it's probably also easier and more fun for them to play as a group if it's a physical/sports game like swimming, foot volleyball and all that~ Also even if this show has minimal scripting i'm sure the members themselves think about what would entertain the viewers too

I had LASIK and it's 1000% worth it! Idk who told you you can't go in the sun or look at screens for 2 weeks, but that's incorrect. I had LASIK at 8:30AM, left the doctor's office at 9AM, Slept until 2PM (they give you sedatives that make you sleepy), and was watching a movie by 5PM. My eyes were sensitive to light for about 3 days, so I did wear sunglasses for 3 days straight (your doctor will give you special sunglasses to wear post-op), but my life wasn't impeded at all after the initial 24 hours. I'd recommend at least going to a consultation with a board-certified ophthalmologist to see if you're eligible for it and ask their opinion on your recovery time because if someone said it took them 2 weeks to recover from LASIK, their doctor did something wrong.

Yeah I think Haechan's weight just fluctuates a lot. He's one of those people that gains and loses pretty often depending on the amount of activity and he's been pretty active recently so it makes sense. He also said he works out so that's a thing as well.

SM doesn't use the debt system. Their artists are contractually bound a lot tighter than other companies but they're not financially liable in any way. In fact, every SM artist gets a regular stipend/wage regardless of their activities. The trade off is that individual artist aren't entitled to a lot of the "promotional" earnings (like tv appearances). Youtube content involving the whole group would be considered promo which means the members probably don't earn anything from this stuff. That makes sense, given how much production goes into NCT's youtube videos. SM also loves to keep things "fair", so I'd guess even the money made individual vlogs don't go to the members.

Mark said that he speaks English on the daily basis with Johnny and Jaehyun, I guess. With Ten too. Actually, NCT has so many English speaking members that Mark gets a lot of opportunities to speak his native language

Where I live, it's really weird to eat full meals in the breakfast. We never eat rice in the morning. We just eat bread, cakes, fruits, coffee. Here fruits and beef are really cheap and common. We buy a lot of beef and a lot of fruits. We eat pork as well, but not as much as koreans do.

But if u think about it they probably dont get a lot of time to do other things and are mostly on technology in their free time. It just makes sense to use the time differently. Also all of them laid out their phones in ep 1 if you forgot so all have them

I don't think they get pay for these content. It's not like SM is hiring or inviting them to film. Even being on any Korean variety shows, you won't be pay or pay very less unless you're the cast. Also this is like a vacation for them, just that they were being filmed, SM paid for everything from accomodation to food then they have to pay for camera crew, editor, translator, bodyguard so it totally understandable all the money from youtube comeback to SM
