You should watch Street Dance of China 3, Exo's Lay and Got7's Jackson are judges there and there is soooo many genres of dancing there and I think you would absolutellllyyy love it ^_^

In my opinion for popping it's 100x better with good structure and a mix of styles. Most good popping choreography (not really freestyle) is organized like a story. Some poppers also like to strat with waving or animation to build up into the popping. For me I don't like to add hits/pops right away because they're the secret weapon/awe factor in popping. You can only hit so hard and if you start your piece with a bunch of them then a long choreography can feel flat. To me it felt like his piece was a series of combos/skills rather than a good structure just because some of the flow didn't really make sense for the song

Either that or dance to EDM lol. It doesn't get boring with EDM because there's lots of beats to fill and it's very fast dancing

I really relate for the injury thing. For athletes, injuries can come out of nowhere and they can be career ending. My knee problems came out of nowhere and they ended my 10 years as a martial artists. Thankfully I'm trying to strengthen myself and I can still do dance for the most part, but I feel like an old lady sometimes as my knees hurt and crack. It sucks being a teen and already feeling debilitated... I hope I can get better

Thought you might be interested to know that KiKwang and Jisung did a programme called “Why not - The Dancer” where they went to the US to learn from choreographers there. Lia Kim also made an appearance in the show. That’s why at around 1hr 24 min, KiKwang commented to Lia Kim that he has seen Jisung dance better when they went to the US. You should check the show out if you have time. Taemin was on it as well.

I didn't realize until now that a performance I have seen, and LOVE, that includes both Hoya and Jisung was from this show! As soon as I realized I got so exited, it's an AMAZING performance <3 I haven't seen this show before, and probably wouldn't if it were not for your reacting to it. So thank you for that, as I am enjoying it so far and I'm sure it will only get better :)

Aww i hope you can too! I think there are rehab facilities for these kind of injuries. May be quite expensive unless insurance covers it but they could help with getting you back on your game!

Gikwang and Jisung were together in a show with Eunhyuk and Taemin where they learned different dances in the US. That's when he was shaken by Jisung's dance. Gikwang looks like a proud dad here.
