Hi everyone!

I wanted to give you an update on some changes that we’ll be seeing which may affect your pledge.  Due to new laws passing in several countries and US states, Patreon will be required to start charging sales tax on some pledges starting July 1st.

Less  than half of all patrons will be charged sales tax, and for most, the amount will be very small. For example, sales tax rates in the US range from 4% to 11%, so on a $5 pledge, that would be between 20 cents and 55 cents. And since I only charge $1 on here, the sales tax will be quite minuscule.

Whether or not you will be charged sales tax depends on your location, and what  is considered taxable there. The money that Patreon collects as a result of these laws are paid directly to local governments, NOT me.

If you’re in a location where sales tax will be required, you should expect to receive an email from Patreon (if you haven't already) with more information about this very soon, but I wanted to make sure you were aware of these changes as well.

If you have questions, you should be able to find answers here. If you still have questions, the best place to get an answer is from Patreon’s customer support team, here

Thank you for all of your support!!

I live in Belgium and sales tax has been around as long as I remember. So I already payed that and it really isn't much. On patreon for $1, it's 20 cents tax for me. (Just if people wanted to know :) )

Sales taxes are common where I live, so I think it was already included, but thanks for telling us!

on a completely different note: I would like to introduce a solo artist to you. His name is DAWN and he's a really interesting dancer, it would be cool if you could check him out sometime! He'll also have a comeback soon, if I'm not misinformed. Here are some links -> https://youtu.be/8zNqu02Ar4Y https://youtu.be/LfkKzHZrCpM https://youtu.be/Kr8-EFdl6gg the first one is a short dance practice for his recent OST and the others are the dance practice and MV for his debut song Money.
