Ok, this was an emotional elimination! :( Do you think the right group went home? Also, what do you guys think of the group pairings?!

Don't get me wrong, I love that you're reacting to road to kingdom, but when you talk throughout the episode you miss a lot of conversation and comments. If you could maybe pause or give a more in depth analysis at the end of the episode, that would be great. :)

I'll miss Golden Child so much in this show :( they were my 1st and 3rd in the first two rounds but to be honest I would miss every group. There wasn't enough performances in this episode, we spent too much time with the ball picking. Also I had a hard time with the "On" performance, I thought the large number of members won't bother me but it kinda did. For me they blended with the background dancers, maybe if there weren't any it would be better idk :(. And I wasn't a fan of the arrangement, mainly the na na na part... But overall it was a very good performance (I smell rookie of the year for TOO) and I'm propably nitpicking too much. Love your reactions and I'm super impressed with how quickly you remeber the names haha :)

It's sad to see any of the groups having to leave, honestly don't know who I would have picked. I only knew Pentagon and Oneus going in and even then I didn't know them well. Personally, I took this as an excuse to get to know the groups better by starting with Golden Child once I saw the elimination when it first came out (without subs). Unfortunately that also means rewatching this was even harder as I've learnt who's who and gotten to know more about each of the members. Seeing Joochan (violinist) blame himself for their elimination was tough, as was seeing just how much Daeyeol (the leader) was trying to hold it together for his team. There's a lot of people worried that Golden Child won't get any exposure due to their early elimination but they showed some great performances and Jangjun's personality really stood out on the show so I'm hopeful they'll still get a lot of new fans.

no one deserve to go home if you want to ask me, it was sad seeing them go home. But away from emotional feelings. I wont say its a surprise they got eliminated. compared to others performances they seem to have the minimal stages with less creativity, also most of their dance are from the original song choreography... doesnt mean they're not talented I have been following them I know how much potential they have so it's so sad... as for pairing I do think it was Bad idea to go random Because I see it is highkey unfair for both TOO and Verivery as the least experienced group... They should've make it according to ranking like 1+6 2+5 3+4 ranks so it get alittle balance or find another way.... while I stan the boyz and trust they will do great... .ONF and Pentagon with similar vibes I do believe they seem to be the most powerful duo here.... But who know we need to wait and see

From about 38 minutes, the audio of the video is doubled. We can hear it a bit earlier in your facecam video, which is a little annoying >.<

Hi Jeff, love your reactions and I just subscribed to your patreon yesterday because of RTK and if its not much could you please pause when are your going to comment something? Not every comment of course but when you start to analyze some performance and start to talk about the technical part you miss some important parts of the show. I'm a big the boyz fan so ofc im rooting for them but man nobody really deserve to go home, all of them are incredibly talented so it was so sad to see Golcha go :( I already saw spoilers about the songs each collab and group will perfom so i'm really REALLY excited. Thank you as always for your reaction! and I agree with everyone else, maybe for commentaries it would be best if you pause the video.

That ON arrangement was a little tougher to judge so I get what you mean haha. For me, I’m a huge fan of this song but like I said in the video, I didn’t want to be biased haha. I agree with you tho, they shouldn’t have used back up dancers cause there were so many of them already! I feel like a big part of the show was cut out for me when Golden Child left. I didn’t even know they had that much impact on me :(

I agree. I think they had enough of an impact to gain more attention than before. Right now, for them, the key is to be present online and in variety shows if possible. Getting out first means RTK-related interviews. They should be releasing covers for fans and stay active. Use the momentum to their advantage! They got this! 😁

Good point. I think they wanted to look “fair” letting the “universe” choose the pairings. I would’ve loved to see a lower ranked group be with a higher one though. Could really mix things up!

Ahh I normally check out spoilers too but I’m totally reserving being blind for this one haha. Need raw reactions! Haha. Thank you for the feedback! I’ll hold a poll cause Im just scared the pausing may irritate others as this is a 1.5 hour show. Could turn into a 2-hr show haha.

I'm going to miss Golden Child. :( But I would have missed any group tbh. I'll mainly be missing Jangjun's humour. He really helped lighten the mood amongst a lot of the tense scenes in the show. Personally I thing TOO and 베리베리 chose a really difficult song. ON is such a well known , big, hit song ( no pun intended 😐). It literally has a kind of legendary feel to it, so whenever someone makes a cover or a rearrangement of the song you can't help but compare it to the original in the back of your mind. Nevertheless I think they did a very good job of making the song their own and the fact that they chose to include all the members worried but impressed me. Making a performance with 17 people and getting them all in sync ( + backup dancers at some point too!) is no easy task. I really liked how they added their own choreography and I completely agreed with you about the adlibs. They were INSANE! However I really feel like the camera work let them down in this performance. I would have liked to see more of the performance from the front angle when they were dancing, especially when they where all together. There were too many overhead and diagonal shots and random zooms during those moments to my taste. Song arrangement wise it could have been a whole lot more epic. I would have loved it if they added more moments where they all sang together, that really gave it more of a "Front lines" feel and Jungkooks part disappointed me for some reason, the vocals weren't bad, the choreography/ performance itself just felt a little flat. I'm looking forward to next weeks episode already though. Only one performance this week. :( Next week looks like it's going to be packed with performances. I am dying to know what the other teams have prepared! The teasers looked awesome...

If I had to pick, I would've ranked TOO last instead of Golden Child. None deserved to be eliminated, and I love all groups( ! ), but I feel like TOO got more recognition, just because they're rookies. They're very impressive yes, but as a performance unit, and also just as individual performers, I would rank Golden Child higher any day. (I'm not even a Golden Child stan btw) I also did not expect Pentagon to come in third tbh, and I feel like it was mainly the emotional aspect of their performances which got them the spot. I also felt like their senior status intimidated the other groups a bit, especially in earlier rounds, but that's again very much my personal view lol :) *sorry for english mistakes, it's not my first language*

I see what you mean. Yeah there’s a lot of variables at play that’s why I think no one should’ve been eliminated but in the end, it’s a competition and we need a winner. Was also surprised about Pentagon but everyone’s working so hard it’s difficult to rank hah. Makes it fun though I guess! Cause everything’s so unpredictable haha.

this was really so hard literally all of the groups were AMAZING! i had a feeling golden child would be eliminated because their round 2 performance wasn't my favorite, but their round 1 performance was SO SO good and in my opinion it deserved WAY better than the place it got, but unfortunately that led to their elimination :(( i'm so sad about it but if i really think about it i can't put any other group in their place because they all did SO well :( too cruel omg anyways in my opinion, verivery's round 1 performance should have been last place then but i do admit that their round 2 performace was CRAZY good it gave me so many chills!! i'm happy they stepped it up so much and i'm definitely looking forward to their future performances :) for me i'm definitely rooting for tbz, they are so underrated but now they are getting all the attention they deserved, i totally agree with their three time wins i'm blown away by their performances every time and i'm so excited for their round 3 one!! i'm also glad oneus went up so much bc their round 1 performance did NOT deserve last place :( i'm looking forward to oneus + tbz collab bc they were the two groups that i knew the most before rtk began. in my opinion tho pentagon's round 1 got higher than it shouldve, not because it was bad (their vocals ohmagod) but i preferred some of the other groups, i feel like pentagon is ranking higher cuz of their seniority.. i still love them so so much though and im rooting for them, jinho is my bias and i cried in episode 3 but i wish all the best to them they are so underrated as a group :( i wasn't super impressed with too at first, but their round 1 and 2 performances were reallyyy good i was shocked! and personally i though onf's round 2 could've had a clearer storyline and personally i was rly surprised that they got 2nd, i probably would've put them a bit lower than that, but nevertheless i think they're definitely improving so much with each performance so i'm looking forward to round 3! that was a very long comment hahah sorry but i could rant on forever about these lol

I really appreciate your reactions so far! For The Boyz, you said you didn't really recognize any of them due to biased editing. I think they've shown Eric a lot but I also think you might recognize a few of them from the performances! Q is the one who did the swivel butt move in the Danger performance and was the first King who got the crown taken from him. He's an incredible dancer and I think he expresses the emotions of the performance very well. Juyeon is the guy who takes the crown from the King with the flip at the end of the Reveal performance which I think you'll remember as well. Finally there's Sunwoo who's the one who you saw do the defy gravity trick in danger and the one who rapped really fast in reveal. These 3 in the group of 5 are the most identifiable in my opinion! The guy in the middle on the table was their leader Sangyeon and the first guy in the pink hair was New who's their main vocal. Hopefully this helps you identify them!

Ahh yeah. Cause in those, it’s hard to tell cause they’re moving and then the lighting/costumes. But hopefully we get more even editing. I love Eric but we gotta see the others too! 😁

I'm really looking forward to next weeks Episode, cause for the first time in this show, there's a possibility of The Boyz not ranking first. The Competition is huge. I think that the collab between ONF and Pentagon has a high chance to win this round. Like the other groups mentioned on the show, Pentagon has the best dance and ONF has the best arrangements, them together in one team can only create a masterpiece. They also have a extremely talented Producer in their team (Hui) who will rearrange Kill this Love in a way that you won't be able to compare it to the original one. I also can't wait for the Concept Performances, especially The Boyz. The Boyz will perform VIXX Shangri-la. VIXX are actually VeriVery's seniors (same Company, we met one of the members last week) and they are known as the Concept Kings so choosing them in the Concept Performance round is just perfect.

I'm late - of course lol... just wanted to say that I'm still really sad that Golden Child was eliminated, since I loved both of their performances, especially the first one - I will never understand that ranking for the first mission tbh... I think them ranking 5th there was what sealed the deal basically. But oh well... tbh I surprised myself still being salty about it now that I'm watching again hahahaha

I was little disapointed because Golden Child deserved better (my opinion ><) Their performance was so cool and my most fave performance of the show is the Black Swan? I think it's called like this so I was quite sad for them ://

For someone who's a Doebi and an Inspirit I cant help but be happy and sad all at the same time. Happy for The Boyz and sad for Golden Child. For everybody's information, Daeyeol (GC's Leader) is Seongyeol's (INFINITE member) younger brother so I saw him grew over the years on every INFINITE variety shows. Daeyeol has always worked hard to become successful and RTK may not be for them, but I know it has also helped them improve individually. Daeyeol-ah, always remember, Inspirits are always here for you. You guys deserved better and I couldnt wait to see your future comebacks <3
