It doesn’t look like the link is working for me.

Isa

It gives me a 404 error? :c

Anonymous

the link is not working for me :(

Anonymous

Not working for me either. Guess we are to early 😜 i am sure he will fix it.

jeffavenue

Hey guys! Sorry about that. I did something, could you try again? Lmk! :)

Anonymous

It’s good now.

Isa

Yes works now, thanks!

I absolutely love the fact that Verivery picked a b-side instead of a title track and did so well. Also J.You from Too had an injury, so he couldn't really dance during the performance. Same with Seoho from Oneus. I’d totally would love if you’d react on yt to the The Boyz’s dance practices/behinds for RTK.

Ally Gichan

thank you! you have one of best reactions! I enjoyed it again. everyone is talented this time I have same ranking as yours omg for first time someone agreeing with me

vannia

this is random but i really enjoy your reactions because its not only about the dance but more about the overall performance and i've learned a lot from you. About the dance practices, it would be really good if you could upload it on your channel, i'm a big the boyz fan so i would love to know your reaction to all the behind the scenes work they do for road to kingdom c: thank u for this reaction!!

Ally Gichan

btw the boyz did not take special musical classes nor ever participate in one but all idol trainees got some sort of acting classes along their training period so that's their background that help ig

Ally Gichan

same actually I want to see him react to all behind and dance practice of the boyz.... he really catch the details of the dancing and isolation when other reactors leave me frustrated to do that lol

Kevin from the Boyz was injured during this performance as well as Seoho from OneUs(the one that rapped and joined the dance at the last part. The amount of effort the groups made for this performance peaves me speechless. The boys and One Us were my top 2.

Zoe D'Angelo

The one mentoring Verivery was Ravi and he is from the group VIXX(most members currently in the military) could you please react to them when you have time? They are one of my favourite groups and they are amazing! Thanks :)

They are all so SO TALENTED! I agree that ranking is hard, and it's not like I didn't like the one that places last, just that the others captured me even more! My current ranking, based only on this rounds performance is: VERIVERY, The Boyz, TOO, ONF, Golden Child, Oneus, Pentagon. I find it so cool that I didn't really notice VERIVERY at all for the first two performances, I forgot them as soon as they were over, but this time they BLEW ME AWAY the most! I only saw the performances alone, as I can't find the whole show (so again, really appreciate that you post full video here <3 ) And I still got all the concepts. That was fun, and means they did a good job. The Boyz is still my favorite overal, but now I've gotten very interested in VERIVERY and TOO as well. The rest I knew and listen to from before, although Golden Child was the only one I really followed.

Anonymous

Everyone was so good this round! My top three are The Boyz, Verivery, and Golden Child, but I'm scared to hear the real rankings, no one deserves to be eliminated really

Omayma

The ranking is like hell for me.

Anonymous

I love watching your reactions becouse I feel like I don't have anyone to share my thoughts with and this way it's like I'm not watching alone. My ranking on this round is: Pentagon (becouse I cried like a baby all 5 times I've watched it), The Boyz, Golden Child, Oneus, Verivery, ONF, TOO. This time it was hard to choose couse I loved every single performance so it was small details that decided the order... But I really like when others have different opinions, it makes it fun and unpredictable... I wish TOO have done their B-side tho, it would show audience more of their song and for me the perfomance would feel more special. Thank you for your reactions

Also in Queendom Park Bom had a guest twice but once it was a prize she won from this segment they did with every participants. And AOA had a guest so i think thay can have them if they want to (or if the guest'll bring more viewers)...

jeffavenue

Oh damn there were injuries?? Did they put that in the show and I missed it? Verivery did so well! Good for them!

jeffavenue

Damn. I guess because of the difficulty of the executions, these are bound to happen sadly :( I hope they’re ok now!

jeffavenue

Yeah I think this show is doing a great job of helping these groups get more attention! I don’t blame you for putting Verivery first cause they were LIT. And glad I could help with the full episode hehe.

jeffavenue

Kinda wish there was no elimination but I get it must be done for the sake of the competition :(

jeffavenue

Oh yeah totally! But I do like TOO’s reason for doing the same song. That was very brave and smart of them. Definitely to watch out for! Also aww Pentagon 😭

Some random facts: - The piece that Joochan from Golden Child played in violin is considered one of the most difficult ones (Paganini n°24) - VIXX (Ravi's group, the senior that visited VeriVery) are often called the concept kings, that's why he gave such amazing comments about how to do the performance :) Thank you for the reaction!!! I really enjoy watching the whole episode with you (well, for the second time haha)

Mats Lind

I just realized your opinion actually matters to me! That sounds a bit weird, but I say that because as VeriVery were about to start their performance, I started to squirm and worry about what you would think, lol. Strange how you can asynchronously connect to someone through the internet. :) Anyway, I was so proud of VeryVeri for upping their game for this episode, and so happy to see you approve, haha! Although, every group did so, so well in this round, I have NO idea how the ranking is gonna be. Except maybe The Boyz at the top. That finishing move was insane. :O Looking forward to next week, man! :)

Cat R

I am very sad that there will be eliminations, I definitely love seeing all these amazingly creative stages and performances so i'll definitely miss seeing two of the groups but I do agree that this is good publicity, Oneus have already gained more supporters through this show as the "Angel Idols" because they were so sweet towards TOO in the first episode. Whoever wins, all of the groups will gain more attention and fans through this! The Boyz was definitely my favorite performance, the story, the stage, the dance and all of the props and emotions was just on point! Absolutely stunning! In case you didn't notice, at the "Tonight we're catching fire" part, Q (one of the members) actually lit a fire on two of the other members hands! There is a 4K fancam of this performance on YouTube and you see a lot of things you didn't due to the camera work and such, like Eric falling backwards, he landed on his back with no one to catch him and rolled to the side so he could get out of the way of the camera. They really pour every thing they have into their performances!

jeffavenue

Haha I know how you feel! I watch reaction videos too and I’m like at the edge of my seat sometimes 😂😂 Verivery did so welll!! The elimination is gonna be very unpredictable I think.

jeffavenue

Wait 2 are leaving? I thought it’d only be one cause next concept is like collabs right? So 7-1=6 (so 3 group performances). But if it’s 2 then it would be uneven? I’m confused haha. Oh yes!! I gotta see those details!

Hi, I enjoyed your reaction to Road to Kingdom. My ranking for this episode is The Boyz, ONF, Oneus, Pentagon, Veryvery, Golden Child, TOO. ONF was first for me until The Boyz performed. The "completeness" of ONF and The Boyz were really high, from the concept to the performance, and the vocal. However, The Boyz's stage had an epic element to it, I got goosebumps when I watched The Boyz's performance. That was when I knew that The Boyz no doubt will win this round again. As for Golden Child, I didn't know what's lacking in their stage until I saw your reaction, I totally agreed with you that although the violin performance was spectacular, it was still a very small part of that whole performance, and other than that, it was just a normal music show or an award show performance. And lastly, the reason I put TOO last was because I feel like their stage was a little bit "messy", I guess, and their concept was kinda too grand for their song so it kinda made me cringe a little bit. Anyways, I am looking forward to your reaction to upcoming episodes!

jeffavenue

Glad I could help with Golden Child. The violin was amazing but yes, I agree with what you said. I don’t know the song for TOO enough to know if the concept was too grand but I like extra sometimes haha. 👍🏽👍🏽

I stopped watching RtK by myself because I enjoy it so much more when I watch it "with you"!!! Different snacks here in the UK but still watching it with you lol. It would be great if you add VIXX to your list once you've opened it again. They are known as the Concept Kings of Kpop and recognised by all groups as such. Also, fun fact, they're also the tallest group as all of them are really tall! Most members are doing their military service hence not hearing much from them now but I'm sure you'd love them. Ravi, who showed up here to support Verivery, is the main rapper and main dancer. The leader N is widely known for contemporary dancing. Together with BTS Jimin, they're the best at contemporary in male Kpop groups. I'm really torn between Verivery and The Boyz for first place. The rest is exactly as your ranking! Stay safe ❤️

At the beginning, you said that Jinho's voice is "just insane." In addition to being a vocal coach, Jinho does musical theatre. You can hear him sing Gethsemane, When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars, Lay Me Down by Sam Smith, and many others at Magazine Ho. Insane doesn't come close to describing his cover of Gethsemane https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cEGtvpolxE&list=PL4ufSRQ4bOqDKtrkfo2XIVQO9A2t6Qva1&index=21&t=0s

My personal Ranking was closer to this! 1. TBZ 2. Verivery 3. ONEUS/ONF 4. PTG 5. TOO 6. Golcha I agree with most of your comments! I loved verivery's performance but it wasn't telling too big of a story. I wasn't left anticipating what would happen the way I was with TBZ. PTG mainly wanted to make a tribute so their goals were different. Understanding the symbolism in ONEUS's performance really helped me enjoy it. TOO's was a valiant effort but their lack of options really held them back. Golcha deserved so much better last round but this round they needed to do way more. They banked too much on their song and the violin and not enough on a theme or story

jeffavenue

Ahh that’s so sweet!! 😁 thank u! Also yes Verivery and The Boyz could be vying for first place here!

jeffavenue

Great songs to cover! Those seem like they’re all well within his range! I’ll have to check these out!

jeffavenue

I agree with all of that! Pentagon isn’t gonna be in trouble this time because that would just come off bad haha. I’m really hoping to see some very wooow factor from them though. I don’t think we’ve seen the best of them yet 😁

Anonymous

Now aren't you glad I'm a detective? The Boyz are just killing it. I was so blown away from their performance. The execution, was to me, impeccable. You really should clip it and do a reaction video of all the performances and let the subs vote, right? That's my thought. Let the viewers get involved to decide, is it The Boyz, or Oneus, or Too? Speak my friends, love ya Jeff! Oh, btw, do you have a new bias now? ;)

jeffavenue

new bias? No new ones yet. Still Eric and Jangjun haha. I feel like theyre showing the same guys from each group so its hard to really get to know the rest haha

Once again, loved loved loved your reaction! I can not wait to watch episode five with you! I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet but one of the Oneus member's who is known for his tricks, backflips etc (Seoho) was injured for this performance. I believe he had/has a knee injury, so they literally wrote a rap for him (he's a main vocalist) and made it so that he would not further injure himself and I thought that was just really wholesome and cool. He rapped the hell out of it too LOL. It's the scene where they had the dancing lions.

jeffavenue

Thank you! Yea some have mentioned. Unfortunately because these kind of competitions are so fierce, injuries are bound to happen, especially for tricks. Good thing is there’s no permanent damage done! Good for them for taking care of each other 😁

hi Jeff! just finished watching this episode. I'm not sure if anyone has sent you this, but there's a Korean who explained the cultural meaning/lyrics reference etc of ONEUS' LIT music video. I believe most of the cultural reference in the MV are the same as in the performance here. Hope the video helps you!! Re-watching even the MV after the explanation brings various new emotions to me, and I was wowed. This RTK performance was a great shock to me, and as a To Moon, it almost made me cry, but really sure why but I'm so emotional, I guess I could really feel their hard work trying to make this performance a huge bang. (and they succeeded!!!)

Anonymous

I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT THE EXPLANATION VIDEO LINK.... https://youtu.be/ePIILLqWdF0 here you go!!

Anonymous

I just became your patron and I love your RTK reactions! I think to better understand the amount of planning the boyz put into their performances you can watch or react to their subbed dance practices of Danger and Reveal, they're pretty lengthy and they share their process and thoughts throughout the duration of practice

Anonymous

I don't know if someone told you already but I need to add the fact that Seoho from Oneus is originally a vocalist but he was injured during that performance so they wrote a full rap verse for him (he is the one in the throne) and I think it needs to be mentioned because that verse was so good ^^ Sorry for being so late, I just joined your patreon askdjas.

jeffavenue

Thank you! And yes someone’s mentioned it. Poor boy. But with the level their delivering, injuries can happen especially in competitions :(

Anonymous

Ravi (from the Verivery segment) is a member of VIXX, they're not currently promoting because three of the members are in the army. They're my favorite boy group, and are often called the concept kings. They have some creepy concepts, Jellyfish Entertainment is known for that, they do it with Verivery too. If you were to check them out, I'd suggest "Dynamite" if you're looking for an earworm, "Shangri-La" if you want an elegant concept, or "Voodoo Doll" if you want to look at their creepy concepts.

jeffavenue

I should really do VIXX soon. My schedule need to clear up and I’m so behind again cause of new comebacks lol

Can someone pls tell me if A.C.E. filmed their UNDERCOVER dance practice in the studio that TOO practised in? It looks so familiar...

jeffavenue

From what I heard, A.C.E. didnt have their own dance studio up u til recently. So they would film their practices in different studios. They started out in a basement!
