I said goodbye to my old 3dsmax2014 and charged Autodesk again. To use the new particle simulator tyFlow. It gave me a new way to do things.

古い3dsmax2014とサヨナラし、Autodeskに再び課金しました。新しいパーティクルシミュレータtyFlowを使うためです。それは私に新しい手段をもたらしてくれました。

I was going to consider another 3DCG integrated development environment once I finish making the "Wolf girl with you" DLC. That's because the physics simulators and such that 3dsmax has are so prehistoric. The cloth simulation breaks down, the soft body simulation, etc. were not useful. Furthermore, they were not GPU-accelerated, so there was no point in installing expensive equipment.

私は『狼少女といっしょ』の DLC を作り終えたら、別の3DCG統合開発環境を検討しようと思っていた。それは、3dsmaxに備わっている物理シミュレータなどがあまりにも前時代的だからです。布シミュレーションは破綻するし、ソフトボディシミュレーションなどは無いに等しかった。さらにそれらはGPUアクセラレーションに対応しておらず、高価な機材を導入しても意味がありませんでした。

However, tyFlow solves all these problems at once, and at a reasonable price. My concern was that it required the latest version of 3dsmax and a subscription to Autodesk. After a steady stream of testing this winter, I decided that it was well worth it, so I decided to go ahead with it.

しかしtyFlowはそれら全ての問題点を一気に解決でき、尚且つ価格もリーズナブルです。私にとっての懸念点は、それを使うためには最新の3dsmaxが必要で、Autodeskにサブスクリプションしなければならない事でした。この冬に地道に続けてきた検証で、その価値が十分にあると判断できたので、このまま突き進むことにしました。

I really wanted to use the latest 3dsmax2024, but I chose 3dsmax2023 because several useful plugins are not supported. Also, the scripting specs changed, so I had to rework some tools I had developed in the past.

本当は最新の3dsmax2024を使いたかったのですが、いくつかの有用なプラグインが対応していないので3dsmax2023を選びました。またスクリプトの仕様が変わったので、私が過去に開発したツールを手直しする必要がありました。

Since tyFlow is an extremely good physics simulator, I was able to create the animation you see here. I was also working on tools to make efficient use of them, and it was April. In the near future, I would like to make and publish kawaii girls instead of experimental ones like this one.

tyFlowは物理シミュレータとしても極めて優秀なので、ごらんのような動画も作る事が出来ました。それらを効率よく活用するためのツールも作っていたら、4月になっていました。近いうちに、このような実験的なものではなく、カワイイ女の子を作って公開したいと考えています。
