ToTellStories here again, folks! The Hillfeld household is preparing for a much-needed vacation enjoying the outdoors, so I’ll be brief, since I have a lot of packing to get done before then, and apparently I need to pack rubber boots since the forecast calls for rain the entire week. Alas.

Well, anyway, the decayed dragon came about incredibly early in Rotgrind’s development. In fact, I think it might predate Khronch. Thurston spent a lot of time thinking about how we wanted to approach dragons in the setting, and this happy smiling fellow isn’t the first we’ve released (see: Rotgrind Bestiary: Desiccated Dragon). It’s a little less dangerous than its brethren, though. I mean, it will still mop the floor with almost everyone, but at least it’s only CR 12 and not CR 18.

We’ve got a couple of bigger PDFs underway, and I’m hoping to get back to building maps for the next arc of season 3 soon. Thurston and I booked our vacation with the plan that we’d work on the Alien one-shot while we isolated ourselves out in the wilds, and with the rain, we’re probably going to make a lot more progress than we originally thought.

Maybe Thurston might even be able to write one of these again sometime soon! We can only hope, since I’m sure you’re tired of hearing me perform as a ventriloquist for his little skull.
