This was a paid test page for a children's comic about a young girl who becomes disabled and struggles with the reality that she can no longer do the same things her friends can.

I'm not sure if I'll get the gig, but I feel like this project was made for me, haha. I became physically disabled at the tender age of 5 and had an identical experience of having to accept my limits. Also, the comic is set on a farm!! And I grew up on a farm! So I realllly hope I get the gig aa!

One thing about it is that there are a *lot* of panels on one page. I had no control over the panelling at all; the panelling was already laid out for me and I had to thumbnail within the predetermined layout, which I feel made my job kind of harder than it needed to be and also drawing 10 panels instead of 5-6 effectively doubled the work, so if I am chosen, I am going to ask for a higher pagerate;;;;;;;

I thought I could do this page in a day, and it took me three days!! So yeah, as much as I LOVE the premise for this project, if they can't up the rate, I may have to turn it down :<

ANYWAY! I really like how this page came out aa. I hope I get the chance to draw these characters again :>
