Hello, friends!

So now it's a time to tell you how things are with the development of our Library Story.


1. Unfortunately translation and beta-reading are delayed :( But we can't complain. On the contrary, we say great thanks to our helpers! They are doing serious job with translating and texts editing for our game. Btw it's more than 70 A4 pages for now (!) - and it's only the dialogues. So... you can try to imagine the amount of the work! 


In addition, we need add new text - set of everyday phrases, descriptions for the objects, tooltips... And moreover we are going to add some new events. We just have to stop it (seriously!), but now it looks like "Hey, what if we add a couple more quests with Belle's corruption?.. Or some short texts with Emma?.. Or let's add two new books events - it's really funny..."


2. Now some words about the art - now Latissa actively works with daily quests and locations backgrounds. In the demo there will be a limited number of active places - forest (several locations), town (several locations too, including the central square with slave stocks ;) ), Belle's House, bookshop, magic laboratory etc... But the major amount of locations will appear only in version 1.0.  For example - lake, brothel, bar, Gaston's house, town market and many others, including several hidden places (have we talked about the portal to the world of pixies until this moment? No? And rightly so, it's top secret information! :D) But anyway Latissa has a lot of work with arts. Although the main work is almost done.


3. Besides let's talk about the game code. Now I work with... another combat system, special for LS. ^^ Actually, we planned to add it after release of the demo version. But we decided that it's better to check now how it will look in our game and then take your feedback - it's very important for us. Of course, the combat system will be different from IQ, although there will some similar mechanics. Also, I'm fighting with a bunch of bugs and polishing all modules of the game. In addition, I decided to rework the schedules system for Gaston - but I'll do it only if  it will be some free time before release of the demo.


In general, as you can see, our work is in full swing - we all are working hard - developers and translators. We should admit that we are poorly calculate the time for release of the demo. But it's only because we always try make our game as good as possible! For you, guys. On the one hand, of course, it's bad - believe, we don't like to waste time and change dates. On the other - the more we do now, the less work will be left with the version 1.0 in the future (though frighting to think about huge amount of content, which is planned for full game).


To summarize - the demo version will be ready soon. Really soon. It will be definitely published on November (even if we will not have spare time to finish something - we'll just cut it out). And yes, we are going to post news about our projects more often. Sometimes it's really hard to break away from the work to write that we're not on the vacations and didn't forget about you, friends... But we understand that it's important for you to know how the things are. And we appreciate this so much! It's very important for us - your support and interest in our projects. Thank you for this!


P.S. And shortly about IQ. Last few days I've been working over one funny mini-game... Maybe in the future I'll publish this prototype on my page, so you'll be able compare "how it was before" and "how it has become now." :)

As mentioned above, there will be a Demo on November. I only want to say you can take as long as it takes. There is no rush :)

Oh, thank you for your position. Now we released only a teaser. There will be a lot of such scenes in the full demo.
