Here's another round of more polished playblasts, showing the appropriate scene lighting of the recent three clips! Might have to alter Zoe's fur a little whenever the camera is close to her face, so the hair doesn't seem as thick, but that's something for the final render, as it will be rendered with four times the density! The lighting you're seeing here is pretty much representative of the final look, even though it will still look a little more refined for the actual final render when all the effects and assets are in place.

Right now I'm animating the final scene and already have 40 seconds of it done, hoping to finalize it before the end of the month. I'm admittedly taking a few shortcuts in this one by having some of Zoe's dialogue play out off-camera, as otherwise I'd still be stuck on that scene until mid next month. And considering I still want to animate some additional scenes like a burp, I needed to aim for a bit more efficiency in this one, especially since it's mostly just dialogue, which is somewhat secondary. Overall it looks like I'll be finishing somewhere around frame 12000, which is over 6 and a half minutes. There's probably half a minute that will be shaved off from that since in between scenes there's a couple of sequences where I repositioned the characters for the next scene. However, there's about one minute of internal shots being added, which should bring this back to 7 minutes. And then there's still an intro sequence and two additional scenes for the extended cut, so... oh boy.

Definitely need to fix Zoe's fingers since the fur always goes wild there. If I still have a bit of time I might end up adding claws and pawpads as well, but only if I can get these implemented in a timely manner! For now I'm hoping you're enjoying these slightly extended cuts. Please note that it will probably still be at least 6 weeks until the preview version should be ready, so don't get hyped up just yet. From here on I'll still be animating and mainly polishing for two more weeks before getting into the rendering process. I'll however keep you updated with previews, including the first fully rendered sequences, as well as probably one playblast that shows the internals. Note that the environment is likely going to get touched up a little as well, as I still think that things could still look a little better!

As always, thank you so much for the amazing ongoing support! I'm pretty confident this will become the best burning pastry animation yet due to all the time you allowed me to put into this. Thank you for being so patient with this! ;-;

Looking fantastic, as usual. I hope that the "shortcuts" that you've taken to save time don't take too much away from the magic, but I trust you know what you're doing x3. Can't wait to see this finished!

Oxurus

All good things take time, mate... and by the look of these previews, it's gonna be a VERY good thing! We need more vore creators who value quality as much as you do!

CakeInferno

They hopefully shouldn't. It's basically solved in a way where the character looks at something different while Zoe keeps talking. The camera would then go back to her mid-sentence, so it will look like she's been talking all the time. (:

Looks amazing, definitely love that tongue action!

Delnory

thank you for keeping us updated :3

I can tell you're likely pushing the renderers limit to get the best results, and said results definitely show once more! Only extra thing I could advice considering (if it's not already planned for the final version of course) is some depth of field for natural looks, given the large scene and trees far in the background. I'd also think some motion blur for the sudden head movements could add quite a bit, but you know your resources best so don't mind me if I'm being detail cheeky ^^

Aeywon

Its looking marvelous! I can't wait!

Miyagawa Ketsueki

"Don't get hyped up just yet" Dude I've been hyped up for like months now lol that ship has sailed

EagleEye

This is looking wonderful! I have to ask just because I noticed it, are these gifs/playblasts sped up, or is there an issue with my computer/browser? Some of them, the first one in particular, seem a little fast. Of course, if that's the intention then that's fine too, I'm just wondering to make sure I'm not going insane.

Matt Flamez

can't wait to hear the noise of her wet, steamy tongue and feel her warm breath. The tongue reflections look amazing! nice work!

KenCougr

The "gonna eatcha" sequence destroys me, it teases just so well. Nuances are terrific. I would definitely vote for better hands on Zoe. They are the detail that takes me out of the immersion. A fitting project.

Daniel Sullivan

i think her fingers look so weird because she has no claws. Dunno how i never noticed that before but Zoe has no claws/fingernails. Actually, yes i do know why i never noticed lol....attention isnt looking at the hands...

Jade B

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa exciting!!!

CakeInferno

Many thanks! I mainly want to contribute something to the community that can be enjoyed for a longer period of time. Depending on the reception of this I'm also considering turning this into a mini series with various encounters! (:

CakeInferno

Very much so! Though there's still a bit of headroom. I'm planning to use the source files of these photoscanned assets, which have a significantly higher polycount. Then I also want to dress the environment some more with ivys, sticks lying around, and other small details. Note there's already some motion blur in these previews, but it's used more sparingly here. Depth of field will later be added in post production through the Z-Pass. But it will mostly be used during the "cutscenes" when Zoe is a bit closer to the player! (:

CakeInferno

Super happy you like! Will shoot you another message next week by the way regarding a scene! Thank you so much for staying aboard for such a long time! ;w;

CakeInferno

I guess that was inevitable! I'll make sure the ship will reach the harbor soon!

CakeInferno

They're the same speed as the previously posted ones! Not sure if all browsers handle gifs the same though, as I know that some Windows programs have a tendency to play them back a little faster than their actual speed. Maybe try download them and play them back through the photo viewer to see if it looks normal? O:

OMG i'm fangirling right now. I love that i love this kind of thing. Nothing else like it! Used to hate myself for it but those were early, confusing days that i'm sure everyone's had with this lmfao.

Darryl Reopel

When will this whole thing be done?

Gman121 Garza

GAH! I'm gonna pull my hair out this looks great! I cant wait to see the final product! God speed soldier!

This is freaking AMAZING!!!

I've gotta be honest, the prey characters are probably the weakest parts of your otherwise lovely animations. Compared to Zoe, they look more cartoonish and low-poly, with their gangly limbs and, in the case of that blonde women, weird fish-like face. What if the POV character was instead a smaller, different-colored version of Zoe? I imagine that's probably not something you can implement at this stage of development, but something to consider for future animations.

i wish i was the smol :3 so sexi and i bet her breath smells sexi af :3
