Absolutely amazing show and felt just as good if not better on re-watch, so glad you got to experience it and I'm thankful for your reaction

The little girl who ran off took the station eleven book, Kirsten starts to run after her then stops to realize she needs it more than her now, Kirsten by this point probably has the whole thing memorized anyway

What a beautiful, amazingly structured show. Super enjoyed rewatching it via these reactions. One of the main themes of the show for me is how the art you create - even 5 copies of a graphic novel that nobody else read - can persist and connect people across decades. And how tiny acts of kindness stack up to help people you might never meet, just through circumstance. Loved Miranda saving Clark and Tyler by asking the captain to do 'an impossible task' (just like Station 11). Loved Jeevan earning the title of Doctor by simply helping people for years. Loved Kirsten giving up her starring role to help other people connect through art. I think broadly, so much post-apocalyptic media is dark and dire - and this show certainly had its moments - but this show is deeply hopeful. I love that about it. That 20 years after societal collapse people would still be trying to help each other, or traveling and performing Shakespeare for a laugh. I want to believe that about humanity. I think I posted before but if you're after another stellar miniseries you can get through in 5 weeks, Watchmen (HBO) is incredible. 9 episodes, some of them you'll never forget.

A nice warm happy ending

Mackenzie Davis was great in Halt and Catch Fire, a four-season series where she plays a brilliant young programmer in the early days of the personal computer (eighties) and internet (nineties). I think you would like it, and I'd definitely be up for your reaction.
