Have you seen Inside Llewin Davis its my second favorite coen bros film behind no country

I haven't seen it in a while, but the original was pretty good. John Wayne won an Oscar for best actor that year for playing Rooster Gogburn. The story is pretty much the same (based on the same novel), but the style and tone are quite a bit different. The cinematography is way more sophisticated in the Coen brothers' version.

Ethan Coen is not retired. He is just giving movies a break to work on stage plays, television and such. I think we can anticipate them making another movie together at some point.
