I, like you Brandon, was super shocked to see the reaction from most audiences. I enjoyed it as much as you. I think people are expecting another Mandalorian show, but this has it's own feel/style which people just need to sit back and relax and enjoy, imo.

The score at the end immediately invoked Mandalorian. Typically, musical cues like that are very specific.

I had the exact same experience with THE LAST JEDI which I loved and then saw the fandom reaction and had to just not let that affect my enjoyment of Star Wars.

Haha I have my reasons. I can lay them out but it doesn't change minds. I get why some people dont like it. I have my reasons why I dont love the prequels. But some people love them. It is all subjective. That's the lesson.

nah man like, i LOVE the prequels and i love me some OT, and i like the sequels. i think the sequels strong suits are the acting, and the cinematography, camerawork, landscapes, it’s beautiful. i just am not a huge fan of where the story went because of the POTENTIAL. like these shows are demonstrating to us a fragment of the true potential the sequels could’ve been.
