i wonder the same thing about the how they did the episode too

The 'pre fat' Mac parts were all filmed during Season 6, they were originally intended to be used for a completely unrelated episode that was going to be called 'The Gang Got Successful'. That episode never happened, and they cut stuff from it to work for this S7 story.

I love Dee. It's funny how acting horrible at telling jokes or being funny, can be so hilarious and good at being funny.

Something I thought was interesting was that originally Rob (Mac) had an idea where he wanted the entire gang to gain all that weight and then not mention the weight gain directly all season and then lose it, but none of them wanted to do it with him. And thus, fat Mac.

You should consider doing an extra episode next week. There's three episodes left in the season and the last two are a two-parter, and every season after this is ten episodes so you'd be back on a regular schedule.

fun fact, i'll just quote the wiki: "The flashback scenes are from an un-aired episode from Season 6, titled "The Gang Gets Successful". The scene at the end where Frank and Dee discover Dennis and Charlie getting high is spliced together from old and new footage; you can partially see Mac's shoulder when the camera is on Dennis and Charlie as he was initially supposed to be present as well."

Fun fact, Glenn Howerton actually auditioned for the role of Superman in Superman Returns, and in this episode Charlie tells him "everyone knows who superman is, and they know it's not you." It's just one of those things that you don't know if it's actually an easter egg but it's fun to think that it is.
