The Mummy Returns is actually good. But very bad CGI. The third not so good. They recast Evie in that one.

I agree that the second movie is worth a watch. Sure, it’s not as good as the first and in some ways, it’s almost a remake, but sometimes just getting to see the further adventures of the characters you feels like getting back with old friends and sometimes that’s more than enough to endure a possibly mediocre to bad sequel.

I really like The Mummy Returns! the third movie, not so much. I don't even remember much about the third one tbh, just that I didn't enjoy it as much as the first two. I'd love to see you react to them though just to see you complete the trilogy. I really enjoyed this reaction; this is one of my favorite movies! I just wanted to say that watching your reactions really makes me feel like I'm watching movies and tv shows with a friend, more so than with other reactors. thanks for all the hard work you put in to get these out for us, it really means a lot. 😃

Yes, you should watch The Mummy Returns. It's just as good as the first. It also has some nice twist in it.

I feel like the Tom Cruise Mummy gets a bad wrap. It's no masterpiece but I thought it had some fun moments. That said, this is the defining Mummy movie for sure. The closest thing we've had to an alternative to Indiana Jones. Unfortunately, it didn't fare as well with its sequels.

Fun little fact I just learned is that Jerry Goldsmith composed the music for both The Mummy and Total Recall which were just released back to back

I'd strongly recommend the first sequel. not everyone liked it as much but I thought it was just as good. Also the film the director made before this - Deep Rising is amazing.
