Django Unchained Full Length Reaction

Comments

Great Reaction Brandon, we waited long for this one. You need definitely check out some of the classic Italo-Western, which inspired this Movie. You have even seen the original Django Actor Franco Nero. It is the Italian Guy who asks for Djangos Name after the Mandingo Fight.

Carlos Hurtado

Django is my favorite tarantino movie character. The way he talks, dresses and fights is so bad ass. Jamie foxx and kerry washington did a great job making their characters relationship believable. I got teary eyed where they were reunited. I'm happy they had a happy ending. Especially after everything they went through. Your reaction to this Def lived up to the hype!

That moment with the mandingo fight where the man asks Django to spell his name and says "I know" to "the D is silent" line is in reference to him being Django in the old 1966 film "Django"

Not even going to bother too much talking about the whys - Django is the kind of movie I'd probably give a 10 flat. Easily among my top 10 movies, it's just a wild ride from start of finish and you get Christoph Waltz? Hell yes. Fantastic action, great world- and character building, A dozen or so different scenes that have to rank among most intense and skin-crawling... ridiculous how much I love this flick.

Dan Hensley

By the way, the best performance by Jamie Foxx is in the movie Ray, the biopic where he plays Ray Charles. If you haven't seen that film, I highly recommend it.

Great Reaction! While I love all of Tarantino’s films, Django falls more towards the bottom for me. Still prefer his older work over the newer stuff. (Jackie Brown is still my favorite of his..)...... Are you gonna watch his scripted stuff after you watch the next 2 ? True Romance is a must. Someone mentioned it wasn’t worth it but I definitely disagree. It’s pretty beloved with some great dialog and scenes.. Also Dusk Till Dawn. Tarantino scripted and Robert Rodriguez directed. Then there’s Four Rooms. An anthology film with stories by 4 different directors.. worth it for Rodriquez and Tarantino’s segments.... And finally Oliver Stones Natural Born Killers. While QT wrote the original screenplay he ended up just getting story credit and has spoken poorly of the finished film.. But I think it’s great and would make for a fun reaction.

Just watched Pulp Fiction with Brandon’s reaction... lol, loved it! I remember when it came out it threw everyone for a loop because it was so different. It basically started a new genre with the realist dialog, or as Brandon called it “Adult Seinfeld”.... just curious Brandon if you’ve revisited it yet since watching more of his films and what you think of it now.

He is going to absolutely love the Hateful Eight. I wish he would watch the extended cut they had on Netflix but he's probably going to watch the normal movie.

Jason Dolan

Did you know Jamie Foxx is from Texas and he used his own horse for this movie?

Gabriel NR

That wouldn’t be fair to viewer outside the US as it is only available there.

Scott Bennici

The dialiague/story in this movie is among his best, but in my opinion its the one movie where the directing choices are just a bit sloppy. Some of the editing, some scenes look a little different than others in terms of cinematography, some of the music choices are just strange... yet the story and acting is so amazing, its just as memorable as some of his better films.

I saw this in theaters. Went with my friends who wanted to see Zero Dark Thirty but I convinced them to go with this instead. We all thought it was good, but now that I'm older this movie got even better on the second watch. Among Tarantino's best for me.
