yeah they mentioned Rickety Cricket in the scene where they were talking about bullying him back in high school. as for Dee, I do truly think she was falling for him but I think it's like she said: I don't think she expected him to actually leave the church. poor Cricket lol this is another one of those great Charlie episodes imo. but everybody was just so hilarious and I like that you can see everybody's personality really shine here.

Haha not sure about that - I think it was more the ego of everyone saying 'she's too old, he's not interested' and her wanting to prove them wrong :D This is a Reynolds we're talking about here -- Love is too much of an innocent emotion for one of them.

haha maybe she was laying it on a bit thick because she's Dee, she thinks she's an actress. but I've seen the episode quite a few times now and I'm mostly going off of the conversation she had with Frank after she saw him the first time. maybe not exactly "love" but infatuation is a possibility, even if it was originally to inflate her ego.
