Is there a way you could include the video of the movie so we can keep a point of reference? I'm sure it's tough to try and edit everything.

Unfortunately no, just a bit at the beginning, if I included the video of the movie for the whole length it would either get taken down very quickly or I would get in legal trouble

I'm wearing headphones and have it pretty loud, but I'm unable to hear any TV sound being picked up from your mic, except when you talk - then I can hear the movie sound in the background. Otherwise it's dead silent. Are you using a "ducking" effect where all low volume is cancelled out?

OK, I'm 12 mins in and this is a fantastic way to do this ... as long as I own the film to get the original audio. 14 mins in ... "I like this actor" ... not anymore ... lol. OK this is an absolutely fantastic way of doing this! ... as long as you can get it synced up!!!
