hey toogrown, I honestly love your channel and the community you created. Here are some my opinion based suggestions, I think you should re-react to a lot of the MVs, as we love your reactions as much as we love the MVs. Also, I don't think you've done the Be as one Original, or the be as one korean ver. I recommend both of them, as they both hit Once's hard. Also, there are still lots of content out there for twice, so I hope I can see mashups, more of your "Because I'm obviously TOOGROWN for these reactions" Thanks for everything man.

The one Running Man member you asked about (the jacked one) is Kim Jong Kook, former idol in the 90's (in a group called Turbo), and he had a solo career as well. He's been a member of Running Man since the beginning of the show. He is very strong in name tag ripping games and often scares the rest of the RM members due to that (they call him Sparta haha) And he's obsessed with working out and eating healthy, he is a gentle giant as you said, nice gentleman to ladies always :) Edit: Adding some info on Yeo Jin Goo the other guest in the episode here, he is not an idol but an actor. He stared in many dramas and is very popular in Korea. At the beginning when TWICE arrived, the Running Man members teased him because he said he liked Hayoung (Apink maknae) so he couldn't 'like' TWICE otherwise he would be betraying Hayoung :)

Jingoo is an actor, he was also a guest for this episode. The main cast of running man is Yoo Jaesuk - the pepper bomb guy who is an host for a lot of tv shows. He's a comedian and tv presenter. Song Jihyo - the woman with mina in this episode. She is an actress. Jongkook - the strong guy was an idol in a group called turbo. Dahyun and tzuyu did a cover of his group's song black cat. Kwangsoo - the really tall guy is an actor. Haha - the guy you thought you recognised is in a reggae group called skull and haha. I don't think you've seen him before. Gary - is an singer. He was the guy with kwangsoo most of time this episode. Sukjin - is a comedian and tv presenter. I don't remember what he did this episode.

Running Man is basically a variety show where they play games and/or race. They usually have various celebrity guests like idols or actors etc. Cast members (in this episode): Jae-suk - The Blue team's pepper bomb is a comedian and also known as the nation's emcee. Haha - the one you thought looked familiar is a singer/rapper/music producer Kwang Soo - the tall guy is an actor/model Jung Kook - the jacked up one is a former idol from the 90s and also a solo singer Jihyo - the one female member in this episode is an actress/model Sukjin - I didn't notice if he's in the episode, but he's a TV host/comedian Gary - former member, but he's still in this episode, he's a rapper/song-writer The dude guest is an actor.

I freakin looovveee running man. Running man is what got me into Korean culture lol. Honestly getting to rewatch these as well supporting you is super dope. If you’ve seen the running man episode with 2PM, you know how great this show was and still is haha

Running Man is one of the most popular show in Korea, and almost all idols wants to appear in the show but not everyone is lucky enough. But TWICE is one of those really lucky group to be in that show for atleast 5-6 episodes. They didn't really blame Tzuyu since it is really part of the game. And aside from having miscommunications, she was somewhat not that familiar to variety shows in Korean. But she will be very competitive and savage in the next guestings.

I think it would be cool if the Twice TV episodes were aligned with the variety shows as well so you're in the same era for both. They have a lot of other fun videos in each era to fill the gap

That's running man members all are really nice person in real life like Twice so they won't blame Tzuyu for that and they as a senior they always take care for all guest like in junior age like TWICE , BTS and others kpop idol group as well as actor & actress who appear on this show. Also grown , when you are going to react to running man for ep 398 & 399 , I suggest that not skipping the video straight to and after TWICE moment because you may miss out a lot of interesting game session in middle or after that.

Those Knowing Bros subs had me pausing and rewinding more than the KCulture subs on the Nizi Project. Kim Jong Kook is a beast and hasn't aged. - still can't believe he's 44. His group, Turbo, was the first Kpop group I saw on TV and one of the first Kpop CDs I bought back in the day.

Yes Kim Young Chul did get bullied in that last KB ep but there is 200 more eps that he gets bullied in. Poor student, that’s 5 years of his school life being bullied. Maybe one day he’ll be able to get a good job and find good investment opportunity and become rich and take over the country.🔥🔥😉😉

I would love to see you watching Running Man on patreon, its one of the best korean variety shows in my opinion. That is Kim Jong Kook aka The Commander aka Mr Capable aka The Spartan...you would like him. I love these shows. You get to see more of their acting skills throughout the various shows. Plus a lot of funny moments and it shows their more competitive sides. I knew Mina in the Knowing Bros skit would kill you. All I'm gonna say is there's going to be more of Actress Mina. Be prepared man. Or she will kill you. 😂😂

Bro! You gotta start eating before all these shows. Food is such a huge part of Korean culture! People will greet you by asking if you’ve eaten. If you can eat a lot, you get praise for being able to eat so well. In weekly idol they usually compete for food lol If anything, have a snack before you start. ☺️

I hate to say this but saying those comments in the US is bad but saying them in Korea is not. The relationships between men and women in Korea is changing, but it's still very traditional. Men are very dominant in the home and workplace. It's normal for male family members to physically chastise female members if the the men are displeased with them. In the workplace male bosses will slap or forehead flick women with whom they are displeased. Sera Ryu, the former leader of the girl group Nine Muses, tells of an incident where the head of her agency hit her with a rolled up newspaper when she complained that their stage outfits were too revealing and that the other girls were upset. The BBC did a documentary about the group and the agency let them film everything so the behavior they filmed was normal. Oh Ha-Young is a idol/actress who debut in the girl group Apink and does solo work now. So maybe they're picking on him for having too many "biases" lol

Thank you for explaining this! Though I'm half Korean I don't know anything on Korean values. I just know a lot of women here in the states who have been fighting for equality and respect in the workforce and personally I've had women coworkers that were way more capable then the men so I was speaking from my own experiences and conversations I've had.

After living in Japan for 4 years and having experienced Natto (fermented "stinky" tofu) and Century Eggs...Yeah HARD PASS on that food. Any egg whose yolk is black and egg-white is dark green is a no-go for me. And fermented tofu is the worst tasting food I've ever had.

If it wasn’t for twice getting me into Korean culture then it would of been Running Man for sure. Just like twice, the cast of running has a role they play and they switch role for new one to mix things up. My favorite role was the Monday couple. Jong kook has a high voice and super nice to girls but tough on the guys. He is famous like almost hall of fame for Korean. Lee kwang soo is also know as the prince of Asia because of his popularity in Asia. Song Ji Hyo is the super actresses/model. Yoo Jae-Suk is the top MC and make top dollar in the industry. So the biggest difference in Korean show and America show is that you generally to see cross over or one persons doing more then one show. You’ll find in Korea that one persons will do more then one show, act in a drama, act in a movie, while doing commercial, doing sing and all that can be release in that same week. Kang Hodong the big guy in know bro./ ask us anything is Jae-Sun Rival. They fight for the “national Mc title” which is held by Jae-Suk. The deep you dive into Korean variety shows the more you’ll notice certain people.
