AAAH i love this Mayuka is also my bias along with Nina 😄 You should definitely react to the mini album there’s only 3 additional songs There’s also a Dance practice of them dancing Dance the Night away A performance version of this song in korean and a performance version of “Baby i’m a star” they already have a lot of content

Yesss Mayuka ✊ girlie went from virtually no screentime in Season 1 to having the best part of this MV (at least for me). Congratulations on finally getting to watch the MV, man. They also have quite a few videos in the NiziU channel like the Dance Night Away dance cover. You can watch those 😁

Finally! And your reaction was well worth the wait! Definitely check out the EP for "Beyond the Rainbow", "Baby I'm a Star" and "Boom Boom Boom". I wasn't a fan of "Boom Boom Boom" during the show, but now it's on the Playlist and Cardio Playlist. I adore these girls and it's going to be fun watching them grow along with you and the other WithU's.

JYP has skills to turn around like that on skates, I would've fallen on my butt for reals. Just like in Knock Knock he has such a good attitude about poking fun at himself. This MV was Niziu's pre-debut MV so we haven't had an official debut yet. I heard it might be in October, I hope its true. You should check out their other performance videos "Baby Im a Star," "Make you Happy," and "Dance the Night Away" - they are awesome.

Finally here boys! God I can’t remember how many times I’ve watched this MV. It’s my single most favorite release ever this year. If there’s such a thing as serotonin/endorphin in the form of a song, this is it. The ONLY predebut MV that has 100 million views in a little over 2 months. Stan Niziu!

Here’s my opinion... and don’t knock me for comparing them to Twice cuz right now, they’re literally clones.... anyway With Twice vibes, they’re already killing it in Japanese market Without a full album, give them a couple years to find their own identity and a hit song... they’re gonna do what Twice hasn’t fully done yet... and that’s bleed into the western market. They not only have 1 but 2 fluent English speakers for promotions and they have the Twice charm in the bag. They may not break as many records but they can make it into American ears.

My man, how's it feel to finally have the pressure off and watch the video? Coming off of the survival show, Riku had become my favorite, but her full, round voice here (and her time at Center position) really cemented her as my fave. That voice, plus the chubby chipmunk cheek smile make her akin to a blend of Jeongyeon and Sana (my two favorite Twice members), in my mind. However, Mayuka really kept glowing up, even beyond that stellar showing at the show's final stretch, where she captured our attention with her rapping flow. Sounds so much more confident in her delivery here, and I was just captured by her Carly Rae Jepsen-look. Definitely was surprised by Maya's look in this video. She was presented as so serene and elegant in season 2, and they really gave her an edgy, hip look here. Wonder how much of this styling choice came from her desire vs what was imparted by the company to give each girl a unique visual identity for the major public M/V (pre-)debut. The headband look when in in the "casual" clothing in front of the theater hews more closely to how she had been presented from the Nizi Project, IMO. Whether that's a good or a bad thing is whatever, but at least it wasn't as dissonant to my preconceived image as her street wear. I was disappointed by the first half having all the girls separate, thinking this was some strange COVID mitigation strategy, but narratively it all comes together at the end when they unite as a single group. As is often the case, what I find as the most interesting bit of choreo isn't in the music video, but can be seen in the dance practice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXAzTUbUB6Y 1.) Chorus line interlocking formation for the 2nd verse (starting 1:15) 2.) Staggered fan-out with alternating one-foot hop rotations for the 2nd chorus (start 1:49)

This was amazing MV but choosing bias going fun for this group, stuck between Maya/Rio/Rikku. I had the same trouble when first listen to Twice between Momo/Sana/Mina. But I gravated more towards Sana for her out going personality and her adorable smile.

Nizi if from Japanese 'Niji' (虹) that means 'Rainbow'. The album's tittle is from the group' name.

If you're looking for another show to watch that's similar to Nizi Project, but also a bit different, try checking out YouthWithYou Season 2. That's the chinese girl group formation show Lisa was a judge on and there's some crazy talented girls on it.

Yes the mini album is out! 'Beyond the Rainbow' is everyones bop. And it also has the full version of the nizi project intro song 'Baby Im A Star' (you'll love it). Then obviously 'Make You Happy' and 'Boom Boom Boom' which were also on season 2. I wont spoil but just as an explanation, know that Boom Boom Boom sounds a little different than in the show, the album version style is a popular genre in japan - you'll understand when you hear it
