To answer your question. "Noona" is the term a male uses to call a female that is older then them. Mina was saying that it was the first time a younger person called her noona. "Unnie" is what females use for older females. "Oppa" is what females use for older males. And "Hyung" is male to older male. That's why you hear girl groups use the term unnie a lot when they refer to the older members. It's showing that respect when talking to their elders. The age respect is a big part of Korean culture.

Twice's appeal is that they're humble and really care about their fans. They do everything for fans and love meeting and talking with them. Can you imagine an American music star sitting down with a couple hundred fans just to talk to them, sign autographs and accept small gifts from them? They care about all the people behind the scenes who make it possible for them to always look perfect. They really are JYP's description of good people as he stated in Sixteen and again in the Nizi Project (you haven't got to that episode yet). His mission for them is to go into the world and bring happiness and positive emotions. The world desperately needs that.

I guessed Jeongyeon would be the best bowler and then I saw Mina's form and knew I messed up. Ha ha. The only thing that messed me up more than the jump to the cooking scene was keeping up with these captions. Time to step up my Korean lessons 😂

I know how you feel, it is really hard to explain why and how we love TWICE so much. They give so much love, happiness and positive energy to our lives. This is only the first time and most probably the last time I will stan a girl group this much. I've just known them since mid Cheer Up & TT era, wish I knew them since or before 15+1. But as what other ONCEs always say, "We might not be able to support them when they first started, but we will be with them until the end." ONCE x TWICE Forever :) By the way, they have called Jeongyeon's father (appa) because he's a chef. I think he was a chef of the past presidents of Korea but right now he has his own restaurant~

Hey im glad you decided to do what you felt most comfortable with the AOA reaction! All about what you feel comfortable posting! This episode always had one of my favorite Tzuyu moments with her getting that strike. Seeing her smile so widely always made me feel so happy especially cause only a few months ago she went through a horrible controversy that slandered her when she did nothing wrong. Noona is the same as oppa but in reverse. It can also have a love quality to it. Closet thing in America is call your bf daddy or your gf momma. A good example of this is shinee replay. This is a old school mv with a 90s vibe where they are basically hitting on a older women.

Mina is silently very competitive. She tends to quietly do very well at everything she does. She is the best at games, she is a gamer, and she is the brain of Twice. It's no surprise she did great at bowling haha.

I was just going to mention this if nobody else did. Details are that her father was a private chef of former South Korean president Kim Dae Jung. His name is Yoo Chang Joon and specializes in traditional Korean cuisine. He also worked at the five-star luxury Plaza Hotel in Seoul, Korea as the chef for over 20 years. And if I'm not mistaken he personally owns a Korean restaurant as well.

My bias is also Mina though my initial one was Momo :) Mina is just everything you want. Stylish, gorgeous, feminine, elegant and at the same time down to earth, competitive in gaming and sports. Would love just to Netflix and chill with her. Just the sweetest girl and just perfect girlfriend material :D
