So the last week I've been hard at work on Roman Nights: The Game (I'll come up with a better name later, believe me.) I've got an unfinished but pretty workable prototype. There's no sound, and the game just kind of... ends, but there's a good 10-20 minutes of gameplay there.
So I'm looking for playtesters. I'm mostly wondering how the game will run on different types of computers and operating systems. I'm especially looking for feedback from Mac and Linux users, since I can't playtest those myself.
So, if you're interested, leave a comment below, and let me know what type of computer you'd be playing it on. If you're lucky, you might get a link with an Alpha version of Roman Nights: The Game!
----------------------------------------------------------------
Edit: So I didn't really explain what kind of game Roman Nights is. It's probably closest to a dating simulator, except you're "dating" a single giantess who may kill you at any time. The first part of the game is essentially an interactive remake of my Roman Nights comic, with a mix of new and re-used images. The second part, however, will be almost entirely new.
On a technical level it's pretty basic, as all ren'py games are; it's basically text-based with still images in the background. This is an Alpha that I put together on my own in less than a week, so don't expect something that looks like a $50 million AAA game! That said, I think people who like my work will enjoy it!
