Running in at the end of February, here's our latest release! It's a big one content-wise, but before we head into the changelog, I want to preface with this; we'll be releasing an updated version (v0.05b) to both patrons and public on the 4th of March. The reason why? 0.05a is about half of what we wanted to implement for our full content update - the other half has already been written/drawn, but it'll take a few more days to get it fully-implemented. So feel free to play the current version, but also hold on for the next one coming very soon!

So, without further ado, here's the changelog:

As for v0.06, we'll continue fleshing out a few more stories and adding the final portions of the interiors, complete with some new CGs along the road. With our main story in gear, we're free to work on the backend of our mechanics, our core gameplay, and our content!

Ay, I'm here again with my report. Not sure if this is actually helpful, but whatever, I'm having fun with it. First off I like the theme of the tutorial, I thought it was nice. Background could use some sprucing up, but overall good. Something I noticed during the tutorial is that you can't really jump off ladders as far as I can tell? Maybe switch the jump button to something else so you can do that kind of stuff? I liked the fact that you can hop off the mountable things though, very nice. I'm liking the platforming. Now onto the new pics. Honestly I have to say I'm a little disappointed, they're a lot less detailed. When it comes to small, less intricate sprite work its only really enjoyable when its animated and somewhat intractable (like switch positions, speeding up slowing down, 'oiling' the target etc. I'd personally suggest going back to the old stuff or making the new stuff more like I just mentioned. Finally something I wasn't quite sure of, I assume you can't enter buildings in this build? Wasn't really obvious, but in the future you'd probably want some kind of prompt next to a doorway to indicate how to enter/whether you can even enter. That's all I've got to say, looking forward for future updates. Edit: forgot to mention, I like the general direction the story is going. Seems interesting, at least the little we get to see in this update.

Yeah I also can't seem to enter buildings, even though the first thing you're supposed to do in the hub world is enter a building. Is it just not implemented yet or am I missing something?

I think it's been mentioned that building interiors are to be added in 0.05b (coming march 4), it's needed to finish some of the denizens' sidequests

I must say while they took some getting used to, the new CG style I feel has much more charm and personality to them than the old ones did. So, I'm all for 'em. Keep up the good work!

only real bug report I have is I did a running jump off the top of the metro and Lensman is stuck clipping through the sidewalk.

Thanks for the report! Could you clarify what you mean by 'stuck'? Is he endlessly falling, or repeatedly falling & respawning, or something else?

Buildings can't be entered in this build, thats coming March 4th (according to Gobbo)
