I hate all of them.

I loved these as a kid, but not so much anymore. Having said that, my childhood-self would say the theatrical films were really funny, so yeah, the rest are more of the same if that's what you're looking for. The only significant addition in the following films would be Bobcat Goldthwait's character, Zed (incidentally, he went on to write & direct some pretty cool films like God Bless America).

I'd say try the second one, at least.

The second one is pretty good. Not as good as the first, but still pretty funny. After that, it slowly begins to decline IMHO. I think they wound up doing 5 or 6 movies. Mary, I’ll say to you what I used to tell my video store customers years ago when they would ask me. I was always honest, but I would let them know this was my opinion. You might disagree and love them. My personal opinion is that part 2 is the best of the sequels. They toned down some of the humor especially the nudity since the first film was rated R. It’s very similar to the “Revenge of the Nerds” movies. First one was very funny. The second one was ok, but not as good and it progressively got worse after that. Hope this helps! 🍒

In my opinion they get worse the higher the number gets. 2 isnt so bad but I'd stop after that

The 1st one is classic. 2 and 3 are good but not great. Mainly good because of some of the new characters introduced. Especially one comedian. After that, they drop off. Don't bother after the 3rd one if you decide to watch and react to this series.

I've only seen the first one. I learned the second one had a joke about one of the police getting an old lady's cat out of a tree by shooting the cat. I'm too much of a cat lover to watch that, so my interest stopped there.

Number 2 is very funny, my favorites are 3 and 4, which I think hold up just as funny as the original, 5 and 6 arepassable, but definitely not as funny. I thnk it's definitly worth watching 2 trough 4!

MattN

my fav is 3 and 4

Tom Evans

Harsh poll results! There's just a lot of them, but I think they hold up well through at least the first three.

If you're going to do any of the sequels just stop after number four. When Steve Guttenberg, the main star of the series leaves, that's when it goes downhill. The fifth one was the last one to be theatrically released and then I believe there were two more that were straight to video.

I think they are all pretty good tbh.
