Still a lot of questions on things. They made it seemed like her witch powers let her survive the hydra testing but her brother did as well. Also I’m trying to figure out how the hell does sword end up with vision body. Between the avengers and the fact he died in wakanda and they’re definitely not letting any vibranium leave.

Vision Quest is the name of the comic where vision is all white. Also Agatha was around at Atlantis in comics but here it looks like her mother is from Atlantis based on the crown on her head and the book could either be the Necronomicon or a stolen Atlantean artifact possible?

The credits state her name is Evanora Harkness which certainly may imply she is Agatha’s mother. This demonstrates just how evil Agatha is.

Wanda has had a couple of different origins in the comics, but as far as I know the idea that "the Scarlet Witch" is a sort of mythical figure with possible negative connotations is new for the MCU.

Well Wakanda did agree to sign the Sokovia Accords, so they're kinda bound to what the UN decides to do with the corpse of an synthezoid Avenger. And just like Cap said, the UN is run by people with agendas. evidently one of those agendas is trying to salvage "sentient weapons."

How much time passed between Age of Ultron and Civil War? My impression in this episode was that this is after Ultron and after Wanda moved to America to stay in the Avengers Compound, but before the events of Lagos in Civil War.

Thank you for another great reaction, Mary! I’m honestly a bit surprised you didn’t tear up during some of the scenes. For me, this was just had so many great touching moments and finally built up the backstory of how the romance sparked between Wanda and Vision. He was the only one there for her when she was completely alone right after Pietro’s death. I have a feeling the land was actually bought by Vision with the intentions of building a life with Wanda. Before they were interrupted by the Black Order in Infinity Wars, I think Vision was ready to propose. Once the Hex is gone, I don’t think the kids and the Vision we grew to love will come out of it alive. The only way for Vision is if somehow this one merged with White Vision, but I doubt it. The kids will eventually be recasted and come back to form the Young Avengers, but I can’t see these current kids going beyond this series. One thing for sure, the goodbye between Vision and Wanda will be gut-wrenching. Not looking forward to it! I’m still curious who this Luke Skywalker-level cameo will end up being during the finale. Since Evan Peters isn’t the Quicksilver from the Fox X-Men films, that ruins a lot of my theories. If it’s Dr. Strange, I’d feel like it’ll be a let down since everyone knows this show is connected to his next movie. I’m looking forward to a big surprise.

So The Scarlet Witch is a nexus being. A nexus being is someone that exists on all universes in the multiverse. And second thing I wanted to point out is that little Wanda did not push herself away but it was Agatha pulling Wanda out of the scenario.

I THINK Agatha (dramatically) proclaiming her as The Scarlet Witch is (another?) confirmation that we now have mutants entering into the MCU. I believe the name/title Scarlet Witch was off limits to Marvel Studios and may have been licensed to Fox for the X-Men movies, even tho they never used her. And thats why we've only officially known her as her regular name Wanda Maximoff in the MCU up to this point.

One thing about this episode is that it's pretty clear that Wanda did bring this situation on herself. Hayward was put in a very difficult position by Wanda, and was forced to respond. He was promoted after the death of the previous director and half of the world's population vanished and helped provide security and stability to the globe. He is not a bad guy. He may make bad decisions as time progresses but Wanda can't just create a new reality and kidnap people. He has to be able to defend the citizens of the world against people like her. Let's be blunt, it's criminal behavior and she's no different than a Thanos. Grief is no excuse for her actions. By not respecting the security of a government building, kidnapping an entire town, It forces Hawyard to rebuild Vision as a weapon.

About Scarlet Witch being the most powerful being on Earth... Since Thor and Captain Marvel are off world at the moment you're not wrong. All three are capable of taking Thanos in a head-to-head fight (well at least when Thor is in fighting shape, though he still did okay while fighting him in his out of shape state in Endgame), but Thor and CM would undoubtedly wreck SW in a fight. I dont think either could be manipulated like she does to those random and in a fight, SW is surely powerful, but the other two have far more combat experience and their powers are insane in their own right
