I really dig seeing Jiraiya again. Getting to hear Itachi's theme is also a treat. Very fitting for someone as skilled in Genjutsus as he is. The giant thing in front of the Akatsuki statue was the 3 tails. It was featured in the fillers you skipped after the Kakuzu+Hidan arc. I wanna add that while Sasuke is without a doubt really strong and deserves the praise for killing Orochimaru, the latter was basically a cripple that was on his last breaths according to Kabuto. We also don't know the name of the Akatsuki leader yet.

that big thing is three tailed beast, Deidara and Tobi captured it at the end of the last filler arc which you skipped... you probably should have watched like the last 5 minutes of the last filler episode

2 teams to take on itachi. Gotta get my man neji. His byakugan would be great for dealing with genjutsu. (They have hinata but neji is a lot more powerful) Shikamaru and kiba for planning and tracking. Naruto, sakura and Lee for the other team. They bring a lot of hard hitters. Kakashi and guy for team leaders. They also make a good team and guy knows how to fight sharingan users :3
