My problem with Sasuke at this point is during the Gaara fight he said he doesnt want to see any comrades die and was willing to risk his life to follow through with that. Now hes just completely turning on everyone cause he cant stand to see someone he looks down on getting better. He has so many people around him actively trying to to help him and he just doesnt care

Jiraiya didn’t say anything to Naruto because he knows him. He knows, mad as he may be, he’d never hurt Sasuke. Naruto was upset, very upset but he doesn’t hate Sasuke. He just doesn’t understand why Sasuke needs to humiliate him and can’t just have an honorable and friendly sparring as equals and keep getting better together. Sasuke’s reaction is understandable but Naruto is not the person he needs to lash out at. He hasn’t been anything but a good friend to Sasuke. Jiraiya knows all of that and let’s Naruto go and think for himself because he’s a sensitive kid. Sasuke does need the talking because he’s not as emotionally intelligent to be able to deal with his feelings by himself, as the show proved 😅 this is all a mess right now. And poor Sakura, she’s just helpless.

im glad u feel for sakura. she def had her bad moments but i overall generally like her character and feel that the hate she gets is is greatly exaggerated lol. Sasuke lashing out is heart breaking cause i truly GET it like he’s been in so much pain for years and it just reached a boiling point :/ poor kid

BTW, Sasuke might not care about comradery but he's at least honest about it. His goal is revenge and the only reason he's a shinobi and is trying to gain power is just to fulfill his goals, nothing else. It's the village (and also Orochimaru) that want to use him because of his talent. There is also no doubt that Naruto has pure intentions but don't forget that he's pretty excited by the fight as well. He's been challenging Sasuke for a long time and initially he was happy that Sasuke challenged him this time because he thought he acknowledged Naruto but then Naruto figures out that this wasn't about him and actually feels bad about it, maybe even guilty. He's thinking about the fact that since his goal is revenge, comradery will not aid him in that path. Sasuke is realist, he just cannot lie to himself, he's thinking very carefully about his choices. The only person who is actually understanding Sasuke's point of view here is Naruto. He's not being sad because his feelings are hurt, he's sad because he understands Sasuke. People don't seem to get that. They truly have a special connection.
