About scenarios (Patreon)

When you run a LOH, you will see a scenario selection screen. I would now like to explain, why is it there and how it will work. LOH is very different from TS in a sense, that practically nothing in the program is hard-coded. All necessary data for the game is in external files. This makes LOH more of a platform for games rather than a specific game. It means that if different files are loaded, you will get a completely different game.

This feature is the reason, why it will be very easy to implement different scenarios and mods - it is just a matter of loading different files. In fact, Warlock of Lust can be just a different scenario in this game. The reason why I made this feature was mainly the community modding and community created content support. It means that when I will make necessary tools, it will be quite easy for other people to add content, create new scenarios and even entire new games with this platform.

This is of course planned for some future time, when the platform will be debugged and tested on my own content. For now, you can at least review what scenarios I would like to implement. Scenarios can have different main character, maps, NPCs, quests and even different game mechanics. Plan in the near future is to add female NPCs and consequently a male main character.
