Hello! I have some new sprites for you today!

Today's sprites add on to my expanding lo-bit style.

I've talked about it before, so I don't think this release will be a surprise: I'm currently working on filling out the final missing pieces of the collection so that we'll be able to release is as a full-sized asset pack on the stores. These have been patron-exclusive for a couple of years now, so it's time to let them into the wild!

These are some new NPC-style characters, designed to have a single animation, like the characters from the original sprite-sheets for this style. Specifically, they are designed to fill out the holes left in those original sheets, as I've taken a bunch of those sprites and expanded them to have full walking animations.

So I created this set to replace those in the full release, so we'll still have appealing full sheet images!

This little addition includes some NPC archetypes that should fit nicely to complete the series: including a jester, a chef, a miner, and a mole-man. I hope that you'll find these to be useful!

I have one more thing that I want to make for this set before we publish it as a pack-- I'll probably have that for you next week. But in addition to that, if you have more specific ideas, especially references for tiles, let me know. I'm hoping to finish this off before the end of the month.

Because once these are done-- the next big project will be Elements Monsters-- it's gonna be a wild summer!

Okay-- have a fantastic weekend! I'll be back on Monday with something new. See you then.

Thanks!

1 Yes I'll likely arrange the lo-bit tileset into a format that works with RPGMaker for the full release. It'll probably only take me a couple hours so I'll just need to find an afternoon and get it over with😅 2 Monsters will be bespoke sprites with unique animations for each one depending on behavior. They'll likely all have some animations in common like a "dead" frame, but they'll all need to be custom made. The elements generator is capable of making monsters like knights, skeletons, orcs, etc, using the base elements animations, so the enemies set will be other types of common monsters like bats, slimes, etc.

Nice work. My favorite one is the Toad, it looks so cute.
