So ironically the people in Ireland don’t actually care about St Patrick’s day, like at all. Part of my family is from there and, outside of tourist towns, cities barely acknowledge it and people MIGHT have a drink to celebrate if they’re reminded. It’s only big in America because of a quirk of immigration and wanting to integrate their culture into America’s.
