Here's higher-quality video of the interview with Krister Vasshus about the very old runestone finds from Norway announced last week. As to the first reading of Beowulf with Simon Roper, Simon is in charge of that video and he says he'll post it on his channel this week.

On Stella's advice, I'm also trying to make the Patreon interviews that I post early for you, or post exclusively for you, a little easier to find. I'm trying out a new "interviews" tag on Patreon for this post (and I'll try to remember it for future posts about interviews) and I've created a "showcase" playlist for the exclusives and early posts on Vimeo at https://vimeo.com/showcase/10135271 --I think you need to be logged in to Patreon and to Vimeo to see the ones that aren't set to public in that showcase, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

And if anyone knows why the Vegvísir video from last year has been exploding in views in the last four or five days, I'd be curious to hear about it.

For now, thank you for your kindness and continued support, and all the best,

Jackson Crawford

P.S. My Patreon messages don't work. I don't get notifications for them, and there's nothing on my home page to show me when there is or isn't a message. I can't even always see them when I check for them manually, and you won't see it if I reply! The best ways to get in touch are: a) just to comment on posts like this, b) to post in the  Community page, or c) to email my assistant Stella at [admin AT JacksonWCrawford.com]--remember the 'W' between my first and last names in that domain name.

The "Idiberug" Find (with Krister Vasshus)

Jackson Crawford, Ph.D.: Sharing real expertise in Norse language and myth with people hungry to learn, free of both ivory tower elitism and the agendas of self-appointed gurus.

Oh, cool, so there's another inscription on the side and MORE headline-making discoveries yet to be revealed? Very shtotty! I saw how you fished for an invite to come see them. Whomp whomp, rejection stings. Nevertheless, maybe you can fly to see the public ones at the musuem.

I think it would be fair to say you snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with this Zoom interview, ha ha

I don't know but i was kind of under the impression he doesn't actually live in Oslo, so maybe it's not that easy to invite someone.
