Patreon "Office Hours" and Year-End Debrief (Patreon)
Content
I'll hold the last "office hours" of the year and a "year-end debrief" on this Sunday, December 18th, at 10:00 a.m. U.S. Mountain time (check timeanddate.com for what that is in your local time; use "Denver" for my time). Here's the Zoom link (https://cuboulder.zoom.us/j/95567324906) and the passcode will be: 7years
By "year-end debrief," I mean that you're welcome to come even if you don't have Old Norse language questions, so stop by if you like and say hi or share other questions or remarks you might have. It's been a tough year for a lot of people and I'm interested if you have thoughts to share on how your experience with my Patreon can be better (or how the experience might be improved off of Patreon, even; I have no commitment per se to this buggy website).
See previous posts about "office hours" like this one for the general purpose and facts about these Zoom calls.
If anyone missed my traditional Patreon holiday cards and still wants one this year, I have a very few left that I can mail through tomorrow (December 15th). But I can't take requests after that. See this post for more information.
I was curious to check the "stats" on these cards, since your addresses give me more of a sense of where you're at than anything I see on Patreon. 27% of this year's cards left the country, and 73% went to addresses in the USA. I sent cards to 15 other countries (top 5: U.K., Sweden, Canada, Germany, Norway) and to 43 states (top 10: California, Texas, Colorado, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Tennessee, New York, Maryland, Oregon). I'm surprised at how widely distributed you all are, and it encourages me to try holding "Patreon meet-ups" like I did in Scandinavia when I travel in the USA too. Let me know of course if that kind of thing sounds like something you'd like to attend.
For now, wishing you all the best,
Jackson Crawford
P.S. My Patreon messages don't work. I don't get notifications for them, and there's nothing on my home page to show me when there is or isn't a message. I can't even always see them when I check for them manually, and you won't see it if I reply! The best ways to get in touch are: a) just to comment on posts like this, b) to post in the Community page, or c) to email my assistant Stella at [admin AT JacksonWCrawford.com]--remember the 'W' between my first and last names in that domain name.
