As of yesterday I was told that Hackett had printed and bound my fourth book, Two Sagas of Mythical Heroes: Hervor & Heidrek and Hrólf Kraki and His Champions, and begun to ship the first copies to customers who had ordered from Hackett. The official release date remains October 19th, because we have had trouble with Amazon in the past and don't know when exactly they'll begin to ship books to people who ordered them from there--and saying the book has been released when Amazon won't ship it for another two months is a recipe for a lot of stupid one-star reviews.

Signed copies of this book will not be available until after the official release event at Boulder Book Store on October 20th. Of course, you can order signed copies of the already-released books from them here. The bookstore is monitoring state and local regulations closely, and might have to curtail attendance or even host this as a virtual event if Covid restrictions are tightened again. However, I'm hoping that it will be a regular, live, in-person event like the book releases they hosted for my first three books. If the event is in-person, tickets will probably go on sale next week, and I'll post a link here on Patreon so that you can reserve a seat if you can make it to Colorado for that event.

I hope you get a copy of the new book soon! Any review you have time to write (on Goodreads for example, or Amazon if applicable) can help a lot in the first weeks, too.

All the best for now, and thank you very much for your continued kindness and generosity.

Two Sagas of Mythical Heroes

An eBook edition will also be released in fall 2021 (list price: $12.50), read more about Hackett eBook purchasing options here. Inherited through the line of the berserker Angantýr and his war-loving daughter Hervor, the ever-lethal, shining sword Tyrfing and its changes of hands frame the uncanny story of The Saga of Hervor and Heiđrek.
