Patreon Crowdcast with Dr. Luke Gorton! (Patreon)

For the first time ever, I've experimented with that popular format of having half a conversation on one channel and half on another. In this case, one of my best friends, Dr. Luke Gorton, lecturer in Classical languages and ancient religions at the University of New Mexico, joined me for a fun and informative talk on magic in the ancient world. Part 1 is on my channel and part 2 is on his brand-new channel, Word Safari.

Additionally, as alluded to in the video itself, we're planning to host another Patreon-exclusive Crowdcast conversation. This one will be in two weeks, on Friday, October 30th at 1:00 p.m. my time (U.S. Mountain Time). I hope you'll join, but as usual, Crowdcast makes me limit seats to 50. 

Friendly reminder: If you register but later find out you can't join, please cancel your registration! Lately, a few Crowdcasts have had full or nearly full registration, but 50 people have never actually shown up. I can potentially see a situation where someone who could make the time can't because someone else didn't cancel a registration in time, so please consider other patrons when you commit to coming to the Crowdcast.
