This week's Patreon-exclusive look at Old Norse vocabulary takes a look at words for groups (like of people or animals), a set of words that are similar to some English cognates but sometimes pretty different in application.

No one has asked, but there was a delay in producing a video about the most recent voted-on Patreon-suggested topic (the Norse view of other cultures), just because the coronavirus situation threw everything off. But it's been filmed now.

nice vid! 'Hoper" is still used in modern Swedish. I had no idea it was old norse. The sentence "En hel hoper folk" means whole bunch of people"
