The now-closed French studio Darkworks tried to pitch a reboot of the OneChanbara series originally created by Tamsoft, the games in which to play as a girl in bikini and cowboy hat, slashing down enemies with double katanas. Could it have been better or worse than the original games? Probably we'll never know. ahah indeed, there was a time when even big companies like Capcom and Konami were giving away their IPs to western companies to create sequels, maybe they were cheaper?
