You should do the rest of the season

damn good show from the clips i've seen online. it's been one of those i always told myself i'd watch but never have. i've seen gifs online though and clips on youtube and it's really, really good from what i've seen. looking forward to watching this pilot with you!

I would suggest doing a few episodes (if not the whole season) to really get a good grasp on the show. Everyone gradually grows on you and they all show some decent character developement. And, yes, even Buck gets easier to deal with. After a while, you can't help but love him (IMO anyway). It really is a wonderful and entertaining show and, at times, damn hilarious. Maybe just give it some time? (I, personally, fell in love with it after about 4-5 episodes. So, yeah lol)

I think you're right about the cast being steller. Def the charm of the show is the love the cast has from its fans and for each other.

I really love this show, I think it has a great pace and storytelling, the actors obviously are amazing. From first look it gives an impression of a boring hallmark procedural but somehow it really isn't. Also, as much as I think criminal minds is a great show in my opinion it's somewhat depressing or darker and this has a more positive vibe to it, so when I watch it I don't go through an existential crisis regarding humanity.

I loved your reaction and really hope you pick up this show for future reactions. The calls are crazy each episode, they have several disaster multi-episode arcs. All of that would be great to react to. Plus this series really makes the audience care about the ensemble cast and become attached to the characters while still having a procedural like format with the crazy 911 calls.

Really hope you react to this show! It is a lot of fun and really goes into the characters' lives more than most procedurals. Also, both Connie Britton and Angela Basset get moments to shine and show off their acting chops.

I agree the cast is amazing but believe me they get A LOT to do on this show, the pilot is just an introduction.

I think the best two procedurals on TV rn are 911 and The Rookie. So I'm definitely excited if you someday do either. I do think procedurals generally should be judged over the course of a few episodes because for me this show hooked me in episode 3. But I agree while I'd love you to do this show, I think keeping it as a follow up to House and some of the other procedurals might be a better fit.

One of the best things about this show and why people love it so much is the way the writers and actors create these bonds between the characters. There’s real moments of vulnerability and love between characters that ground them a lot more.

Buck is a character you will grow to love. His character development is AMAZING

I almost forgot what a pain in the ass Buck was back in season one. I really couldn't stand him back then, but he's grown so much from the guy you're seeing now.

What I always love about this show is how real it is. That baby storyline really happened, and most cases in the show are based on real cases (usually here in L.A.). I know if there is some weird case in the news, sure enough it'll end up on the show. 😂
