I Am Not Chamari

Yes!!!! The whole show is like this haha Non-stop drama. I’m not sure how many more “twist endings” there will be. I remember it being just in the first couple of episodes. But your reaction to Miguel at the end was absolutely AMAZING lol like the PERFECT reaction. This show first came on when I was in college, a nineteen year old. I’m now 25 and I know these characters are in their late 30’s but GOSH, do I connect with each and everyone of them even more than I did before. I’m particularly speaking about the Big Three. Kevin caring what everyone thinks, Randall trying to chase perfection, Kate constantly not being able to stop thinking about her weight since she was a kid. I love how real these characters and situations feel, while still creating excellent drama. I think this show does VERY well at juggling multiple timelines. I have rarely been confused about where or when we are. Just as a helpful guide for you, each season is a year. In the first episode, the Big Three turned 36. The show takes place in the same year that it aired, with the first season taking place in 2016. This let’s us know that the Big Three was born in 1980. They mentioned this episode that the kids were 8 years old. So, when we see the children at this age early on, we can assume that it’s about 1988. I think it’s truly wild how they wove this show together and I cannot wait to hopefully watch more with you!
