it is the american doctor who a little bit. because the doctor is more science and this is more magic but bascially the same yes. well also the differences of no time and space travel in this one and no tradis saldy. but the library is cool also. and it was me that requested it i think thank you so much for doing it! and no you don't need to watch the movies first but it is basically Flynns story before this show

although oddly enough this is the shortened version of the first episode they cut a lot of little stuff out but the story still stands i suppose still good reaction though

Flynn(Noah Wyle) you might have recognized from the Falling Skies and ER pilots you reacted to. This show does have some Doctor Who vibes. I liked this show when it aired, although I was a little more a fan of Warehouse 13, which is a similar style show, I did enjoy this series. It would be great if you ever got a chance to finish the season of Doctor Who you were watching, I think it had a pretty good end to the season.
