Season 5 is a wild ride. I think this is the first year that I watched live and then watched reactors every week, so I know the episodes pretty well because I re-watched multiple times as they aired. This Clark and Bellamy reunion was pretty epic at the time.

Over a hundred years ago before the nuclear missiles destroyed the Erath, prisoners were being used to explore and mine in dangerous areas of space. They were on ships with cryosleep so they could travel far away without aging. The prisoners on the ship in the show found out about something bad, we don't know what but it was bad for them. So they revolted, and part of taking over the ship involved destroying one of the engines. But this meant that the ship would take a long time to get back to Earth, so they put themselves into cryosleep.
